The Oxballs Colossus & Super-Max

The Oxballs Pig-Hole is the most popular single toy on here. No reviews gets more clicks or traffic from search engines, no toy is the topic of more reader questions. Every time Oxballs just hints on social media that a new Pig-Hole is in the works, I get dozens of DMs if I already know more or have played with a prototype. Since I live about 9,500km away from the Oxballs HQ, I am sadly not part of that elite beta test circle. But I try to get my hands on the new toys as soon as possible and get you an educated opinion which proved a bit more challenging than the previous toys. But I am getting ahead of myself.

Construction

Even the new sizes follow the general design of the original toy. The opening at the top is a bit slanted with a tip for easier insertion. From the opening the body extends to a wide barrel shape and later tapers to a small neck until flowing into a base. The base has the same shape of the one of the Pig-Hole FF with recesses in the middle for better fitting between the cheeks.

Both sizes are only cast in Oxballs’ softer Morph silicone which in theory makes handling and the taking of the toy easier. In order to keep it stable, even when the muscles try to push it out, all Pig-Holes have lateral ridges inside the barrel for added stability. But on these big boys the ridges inside the barrel scaled with the size. The massive increase in width and height makes them way more rigid. So even when your rectum contracts and wants to expel the BIG foreign object, the barrel will not compress, locking it in place. This of course makes also the insertion more difficult.  Especially the Colossus is almost impossible to fold even with dry hands. As soon you add lube, this becomes a slapstick act instead of a sexy process.

For the first time with Pig-Holes, both the Super-Max and the Colossus come in different colors: Plain black and blue have been standard colors for the toy range. But for the new sizes they have added the option to have a black base and neck and a barrel in either pink, yellow, purple, green or red. Since both colors of the platinum silicone are cast in following each other, the color sometimes creates a little marble effect on the base.

I have a hard time calling these objects “toys” rather than novelty items. In my extended circle of greedy anal sluts who make up my testee panel I found one guy who could take the Super-Max after massive pre-stretching. This is mainly due to when folding the toy to insert it, your create a blunt and jagged surface of 60x50mm in the best case. But when you have lube on the toy and on your hands, you never reach that level of compression. So you basically try to push a soda can with an uneven top into your anus. Once inside, the Super-Max inflates quickly due to the stronger ridges. But having it inside is not the most comfortable thing because most rectums are smaller than the barrel. So instead of a comfortable filled feeling and forced openness, there is an uncomfortable feeling of fullness and pressure in your lower abdomen.

The good thing is, the lower opening is now so wide that a medium sized hand can push through without having to fight the material strength – if the anus does not compress the neck. With former Pig-Holes, you could use to toy to increase the size of knots and plugs. But except the largest toys (think SquarePeg Monster Egg or Bad Dragon Rex XL), the inside of the Super-Max is actually larger than the toy. Pushing such big toys in is actually a challenge because the ridges make the barrel so stiff, it takes a lot of force to expend.

Pulling the toy out feels more uncomfortable than a hard de-knotting. With the ridges inside prying the anus open from the inside, you have to pull until the muscle gives in and releases the toy. The Super-Max should not stay inside the rectum for too long. Because once the lube has been absorbed, getting it out is even more difficult.

So much about the Super-Max. Now let’s look at the Colossus. If you can get it to fold and stay folded – which is impossible once lube has been applied – the top has a footprint of 70x65mm and only gets bigger from there on. Since the barrel is so long, the strong ridges inside the barrel forces it to expend at the top while you are still pushing the toy through the sphincter – if you can find a bottom to accommodate it. The barrel is so absurdly large, that it is larger than even the most cavernous rectum. So I cannot imagine it being comfortable if you can get it somehow in. How to get it out is probably a different question. But these are all hypotheticals. I have not found a testee who could take the Colossus.

That both toys and especially the Colossus are novelty toys, also shows in its presence on social media and in retail. Usually, when a new Pig-Hole gets released, greedy bottoms rush to the shops to buy it and proudly display their gaping hole stuffed with a silicone tunnel plug. For the Colossus, I could only find a handful of media of the toy in use and for the Super-Max only slightly more. This might be partly due to not many stores selling it. Both new sizes are for such a niche audience that the risk of not selling it is probably too high.

After having played with the Super-Max a couple of times, I also wonder who would need it. Yes, there are a few fistees who have blown out their anus so much that they need a massive barrel to keep the toy from falling out. But these are only a few ones. For most other fistees the Pig-Hole FF or if that is too small the more textured Pig-Hole Popper Jumbo are easier to handle and offer the same play qualities.

As a novelty item in popping colors which intimidates newbies and makes seasoned players chuckle, the Colossus is a fun item. If you play with really greedy and loose holes, having the Super-Max ready when you need to challenge an over self-confident is also fun. But to be frank, for the price you pay, rather get the Pig-Hole FF and the Pig-Hole Popper Jumbo. In 99% of the cases you will get more and easier fun out of them. Because in the end, when a toy is too difficult to handle and too rarely used, you will put it out of sight and use it even less. Unless you present it as a decoration which I am doing with my Colossus.

When Oxballs announced that they would be releasing some new, even bigger Pig-Hoes, my inbox exploded. If had played with one yet, what my opinion on those were, how the new silicone blend compared to the old one. Against popular opinion I only very rarely get preproduction samples. So during my USA trip in September I stocked up with some new Oxballs stuff. And after some thorough review scenes, here are my thoughts.

Construction

All Pig-Hole Popper share the same basic design of Pig-Holes. The Popper Tall and Big Gaper are versions of the Pig-Hole Deep (link to review), the Jumbo Gaper is basically an Pig-Hole FF (link to review). They also keep the basic wall strength. Inside the barrel is textured with lateral ridges like on their cousins. The big different is that the outside of the barrel is not smooth but it is textured with big bumps. There are three on the Big Gaper, four on the Tall and five Bumps on the Jumbo Gaper. Like the Pig-Hole Deep and FF all Popper cannot be turned inside out.

Before I come to the dimensions, a word on the maximum dimensions. After my last Pig-Hole reviews, I have gotten a couple of messages complaining that my measurements are not accurate. The combined the Pig-Hole with a dick/ fist/ toy and the maximum dimensions were considerable larger than described. Since the silicone is flexible, it will stretch. So the toy can feel and be considerable larger than measured when stuffed!

For the Popper range, Oxballs uses a new platinum silicone blend they call “Marshmallow silicone”. Of course the material has the same material properties as every other silicone blend. It is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, easy to clean and sanitize with warm soap water.  In order not to damage the toys, only use it with water- or oil-based lubes. The silicone oil in silicone lube disintegrates the silicone over time. Firmness-wise I recall reading a Shore 00-value on Twitter. But since I cannot find the Tweet again, I am not going to quote it, especially since the value sounded quite low compared to the felt firmness. Subjectively the firmness sits between the regular Pig-Hole silicone and the Oxballs’ Morph silicone.

Colorwise Oxballs follows recent years’ trend of marbled, brightly colored anal toys. Besides the classic Solid Black, the offer six marble colors: Fire (Red & Orange), Water (Blue & Teal), Weed (Lime & Olive), Orchid (Purple & Lavender), Unicorn (Violet & Light Blue) and Rosebud (Magenta & Pink).  My Popper Jumbo is Black, the Popper Big Gaper Water and the Popper Tall’s color is Rosebud. Each marble is different with an individual color and pattern. Personally, I would have preferred my Water to have more blue and instead of the Rosebud and Black, I’d chosen Fire and Weed. But since there were so many review requests coming for these toys, I chose availability over colors.

Despite being firmer than the Morph silicone (link to review), the Marshmallow of the Poppers is squishy yet far from the sponginess of the Marshmallows. “Firm Fudge” would probably been a better description though in regards of anal play probably not as sexy as Marshmallow.

The bumps around the barrel have two effects: First, the added texture makes taking the toy more difficult. The bumps are well rounded but the “rugged” surface keeps the toys from sliding in as easily as its smooth cousins (nota bene: I have not yet played with the Pig-Hole Squeal but I assume it’s texture will make it more difficult to take it). Second, the massive lumps around the barrel make it more rigid. Surprisingly, fisting through the Popper Jumbo Gaper is not much more difficult than through the Pig-Hole FF in regular firmness (I don’t have a Morph for comparison). This is partly due to the Marshmallow silicone being softer and the grooves between the bumps serve as expansion joints. With very small and nimble hands you can fist through the Popper Tall. The Popper Big Gaper is not fistable regardless of how small and strong the hand is!

But the Big Gaper is the perfect dick sheath if you want to get knot-fucked! Most fantasy sheaths are made out of too thin, too soft silicone so they slip off easily. This is not the case with the Big Gaper! Of course with either need to grab the base while fucking or put the plug in a strap-on harness before you put in on your dick. For REALLY well-endowed guys, this might also work with the Popper Tall. Naturally, the Big Gaper is also a good fuck plug. The ridged inside the barrel will massage the glans while it slides through the tunnel.

The added spring and rigidity of the bumps makes folding the Pig-Hole Popper more difficult. If you are not extremely lose, folding the Pig-Hole is the best way to insert it. To fold the Poppers, grab the bumps on the lower end of the aperture and push those inwards. This is quite difficult with a well-lubed toy but it is the only way to decrease the diameter and make the toy more compact to push it through the sphincter. It truly is a toy for those holes who are not challenged by the larger Pig-Holes anymore.

For bottomless holes, another insertion method is putting a plug inside the tunnel and push the whole, not-collapsible Pig-Hole Popper into the hopefully well poppered bottom. You can adjust the intensity by your choice of plug: The softer and more rounded the plug, the easier will go in (for this I recommend a Topped Toys Gape Keeper [link to review] or SquarePeg Egg Plug in soft [link to review]). If you like it HARD, choose a firm Egg Plug (link to review) and/ or a plug the fills and stretched the inside of the barrel completely like the SquarePeg Acorn (link to review) or Organotoy Sit-Plug (link to review). If you grab the bottom of the Pig-Hole Popper and the stuffing plug, you can fuck the bottom with the texture and torment his sphincter and prostate by turning the combo inside his rectum. This is an intense ride but fun for texture junkies (like me).

The bumps’ “texture” and larger diameter lock the Poppers quite well into the hole even when lubed handsomely. During the testing period accidentally shooting out the Pig-Hole Popper did not happen. So if you have an issue with your anus ejecting Pig-Holes, give the Poppers a try. From this angle the Big Gaper starts to make sense. My – to be frank quite greedy and experienced – testees were looking at this size a bit puzzled: Why introduce the Popper bumps onto a small toy? It is made for people not so anally experienced yet who for example want to turn their rectum into a free for urinal but fear that the trough might fall out. Finally, let’s get down & dirty for some important pieces of sewer play advice. If you are faint of heart, stop reading here. From reader questions I know that quite a few of you like to play dirty with the Pig-Holes. Especially diaper peers and guys who want to surrender control completely enjoy the gaping powers of the toy. However, silicone takes on smell easily. The softer, the quicker. The longer the toy is exposed to the smell-carrying substance, the “deeper” the smell sinks into the toy. So superficial cleaning with disodorizing or sanitizing agents will not help. The good news is, the smell will fade over time. But if you have play partners who are picky about certain scents, you might want to get two Pig-Holes: One for dirty, one for clean play.

The Oxballs Pig-Hole is one of the most widely used anal toys in the kink scene. The Deep-2 is a special, extra long version of it.

In the lower half the design is almost like on his shorter brother: An oval base surrounds a 40x60mm hoping hole. The base is wide so it does not get accidently sucked into the rectum. An about 40mm and thus almost twice as long neck as on the standard Pig-Hole raise out of the base. Above it sits a barrel shaped body which on the inside is reinforced by grooves so it does not collapse that easily. The body measures 71x85mm on the outside (if you have a technique to measure the inside dimensions, hit me up) so size-wise the Deep-2 sits between the Pig-Hole XL and XXL (or 4 and 5 if you go by the embossed numbers). The biggest difference between the standard and the Deep Pig-Hole is above the body. Out of it raises a tube. Since its top is slanted it is 55mm high on the short and 70mm on the tall side.

Like on all Pig-Holes there is a little relievo with the product name and the size number rising from the base’s rim – just in case you are wondering which size your greedy hole just swallowed.

There is a smaller version out there called the Deep-1 which is about 17% smaller in every dimension and thus too small to fist through for example. I would only recommend buying it when you rectum is too small to fit the Deep-2’s long tube. Otherwise, buy the toys for the hole you want not the hole you have, while respecting your body’s limits, especially depth-wise.

Most important thing first: The Pig-Hole Deep is made for loose holes. Really loose holes! If your hole cannot swallow the tube and the body with ease, you will not have much fun with this toy. While the  standard Pig-Hole can be folded to be pushed through the sphincter, the long tube and the barrel cannot be folded when lubed up. So it either goes in as it is or it doesn’t.

Still with me? Then you are a greedy ass pig and this toy is a good addition to your toy collection! Both the opening and the body are a bit smaller than on the Pig-Hole XXL. Yet a determined fister with maximum medium sized hands can fist through the neck, placing the fist inside the body. Once there, the fun really starts. When he starts to move his wrist and fingers, the end of the tube will stimulate the sensitive mucosa of the rectum. Fisting into the Deep-2 is easier with the blue colored Morph Silicone version which is about 10% softer than the red and black silicone. While this does not sound much, it is a lot! Yet it requires an even looser hole to be inserted.

In really rare cases, the anus and the second sphincter align that the tip pushes through it, sending the bottom into ecstasy.  In this case, the Pig-Hole Deep is a great gateway into the colon, making depth play with toys considerably easier. But this is a unicorn situation just two lucky testee tops each had once.  Another unicorn situation is finding a top with small hands and arms who can push trough all the way – if you have a large enough rectum. A friend of mine has XS hands and managed to do this with his partner. Every movement of his arm and wrist was transferred onto the toy, stimulating anus, prostate and rectum at the same time.

But enough for these borderline and once-in-a-million cases. Even if your top has large hands, the Pig-Hole Deep has much to offer. Twisting the tunnel plug will stimulate the rectum because the slanted top moves over the mucosa. For even stronger stimulation and added pressure on the prostate you can stuff it with other toys; my choice is a SquarePeg Medium Acorn or XL Egg. These toys are perfect for transmitting vibrations. Simply press a massager of your choice – I would recommend a Doxy – and watch your bottom squirm. In theory you can place the massager’s head into the Pig-Hole Deep’s body but I would only recommend that if you have a masochistic sub, a soundproof playroom and your bottom is securely fettered inside the sling (including some form of waist restraints!). The direct stimulation is VERY intense and lead to quick safewording – or hands-free orgasms. It was definitively not my cup of tea but everybody is different.

Here’s the review

Happy Valentine’s Day! ToyTorture.com is still on hiatus and will return just in time for the Easter debaucheries in Berlin. But every time Oxball releases a new Pig-Hole, my inbox explodes. So I am taking a break from the break to tell you the thoughts of the ToyTorture.com Testee Panel on the new Pig-Hole Morph.

The Pig-Hole Morph XXL

Construction

There is not much new about the Pig-Hole Morph. It is still a tunnel plug with a barrel-shaped body. Inside the body there are grooves for a bit added stability and texture sensation. The top of the body is a bit slanted for easy insertion while at the bottom it tappers and the opens up to a nice and wide base.

It comes in four sizes: Large, XL, FF and Deep-2 (the larger one of the Pig-Hole Deep) and is only available in a dark & light blue swirl with glitter. This tone is the signature color of Oxball’s new Morph Silicone which sets this toy apart from its predecessors. Keeping the shape, dimensions and wall thickness the same as the toys in the original silicone, the Morph Silicone is 10% stretchier (and about 10% lighter if you really have to watch your weight when flying…). Cleaning-wise it is still easy maintenance with just hot dish-soap water, a bit of brushing, drying, sanitizing and done.

If you want to know what makes the original Pig-Hole or the Pig-Hole FF great for play, check out their original reviews. In this article, I will focus how the new stretchiness of the material impacts the play.

First the bad news: The softer material makes the Pig-Hole even more difficult to insert. My recommendation is still to fold the toy, push the compact package through the sphincter and then manually unfold it. Folding the toy’s body with lubey hands has become a bit easier through the softer material, but getting it to pop through a not already gaping sphincter has become more difficult. Also, the unfolding takes a lightly looser sphincter than before since the material has less basic tension. So it is easier for the sphincter to close it (partly). But on the other hand, the Pig-Hole now adjusts more easily to body and gives in to movement. This is important for the people who want to wear it long-term. Especially when walking, the original silicone the base a bit to rigid and in some situation had so much leverage that the body was pulled out. This does not happen with the Morph.

The softer material also makes it easier to fist through the Pig-Hole. The top can get in easier and the chances of pulling the entire Pig-Hole out with the fist, are significantly lower. Since the material does adjust more to the surroundings and whatever is stuffed inside it, my testees preferred the Morph over the original Pig-Hole when adding a plug for shutting it. The plug stayed better in place, was more comfortable to wear over time and kept liquids from escaping more securely.

Finally, let’s talk about the texture side of things. Finally, the grooves inside the body can be felt properly when the top is targeting them. With the original material it was just a faint massaging, with the Morph you can really feel them when the top is pressing against them. If you want more, simply turn the Pig-Hole inside out. While this was already possible under great stress with the original Pig-Hole XXL and is probably theoretically possible with the original Pig-Hole FF, with the Morph it is a jiffy. Now the grooves are on the outside and pulled over a large enough toy or fist can turn it into an interesting textured plug!

Ever since Oxballs announced in early 2018 that there would be a new, larger version of the popular Pig-Hole tunnel plug, I was inundated with messages when it would come out and once it did, when I would review it. Due to the massive size of this toy, it was a bit difficult to find testees for it. But now I have found enough to finally give you what is probably one of the most anticipated reviews of this year.

Construction

The Pig-Hole FF follows the same design and shape as the original Pig-Holes. The opening at the top is a bit slanted with a tip for easier insertion. From the opening the body extends to a wide barrel shape and later tapers to a small neck until flowing into a base. The opening measures 48x62mm and the barrel a whopping 93x108mm while the neck “only” measures 55x72mm. This means the Pig-Hole FF is about 20% larger in volume though at 155mm only 5mm taller than is Pig-Hole XXL. The hole in the bottom measures 57x75mm and thus is only about 10% larger than the XXL, but through a more ergonomically re-design of the base, it has roughly the same footprint making it still fit perfectly between the ass cheeks.

Inside the barrel, there are the same ridges as on the original Pig-Hole though they are about 15% deeper for added stability. Oxballs also increased the wall strength from 6.5mm to 8mm to keep the toy inflated even with a little unwilling holes. This increased rigidness also means that you can’t turn the Pig-Hole FF inside out anymore.

Playing with the Pig-Hole FF

Two and a half year ago, I started this paragraph talking about that the greatest challenge of the Pig-Hole XXL is the insertion. And with the Pig-Hole FF it is even worse, for two reasons:

  1. The easiest way to get the Pig-Hole in is to fold the plug. But the footprint increased from 48x38mm to 51x47mm. It takes a very loose hole to take a “blunt” surface of that size.
  2. The added rigidness makes it harder to and kept fold. Being prepped for insertion with loads of lube makes that a really difficult task.

Along with the unfolded size means that the Pig-Hole FF is as toy for really experienced and greedy ass pigs whos hole have been properly loosened up during the scene. But the new design also helps such sloppy holes: Since the length only marginally increased compared to the massive diameter growth, the slopes of the taper are steeper, meaning it will also stay in place more easily. This is also necessary because despite the larger holes on both ends, the thicker material requires actually a bit more strength to fist through the Pig-Hole FF. Again, the good thing for a real stretch pig is that fist fucking with a Pig-Hole FF wrapped around a hand is blissfully intense!

Being a tunnel plug, you can also do the fun things with the Pig-Hole FF which an open hole offers: Pour in liquids, close it with a plug (my recommendation: Square Peg Acron; the ridge just about the taper almost works like a lock) or make the bottom incontinent for a bit and forcing him to wear a diaper.

It’s here! It is finally here! The Oxballs Pig-Hole FF! When I launched ToyTorture.com almost exactly 6 years ago, I would have never dreamed that the most anticipated toy of the year would be an anal toy. I actually could not trace back when Oxballs first talked about a new, larger Pig-Hole on Twitter. The craze at my end started in January when Oxballs tweeted that the Pig-Hole was in the 3D printer and would hit the store some weeks later. Since this initial tweet I have gotten 350 (!) e-mails, Twitter DMs, Tumblr, Recon or PlanetRomeo messages asking when it would hit the stores and when I would review it. Over 150 people asked a second time and 4 (!) send me no less than 5 messages when they could finally stuff their butt with it. Never before had I such an interest in a toy. And here it finally is!

I loved the original Pig-Hole XXL and enjoying getting double-fisted I am pretty sure that the Pig-Hole FF will not disappoint me. They made some design changes which just looking at pictures make sense to me; for example proportionally enlarging the base would have made the toy look cartoonish.

Now, about a week since Oxballs launched the toy, I have already gotten more than three dozen messages asking me when I will share my two cents about this toy. I am not sure when I will the toy yet. But if anybody wants to give me a review sample, I’d like it in red to have it in a different color than my Pig-Hole XXL. Since I started reviewing anal toys the Oxballs Pig-Hole hollow butt plug was one of the toys I got the most questions about so I was more than happy when Uberkinky sent me a review sample of the XXL version.

Construction

The Oxballs Pig-Hole hollow butt plug is as the name says a tunnel plug. It starts out with a  very large base so it does not accidently disappear into a greedy ass. From a tapered neck the plug expands into a barrel shaped body and narrows for the opening  again. The end is a bit slant so you have a bit of a “tip” when inserting the toy into the ass.

The inside of the barrel shaped body has some grooves for added stability. The toy is currently available in five sizes for almost every experience level.

Playing with it

The most difficult thing with the Oxballs Pig-Hole is how to get it inside the ass. Despite the grooves especially the sizes on the fisting side collapse rather collapse than be pushed into the ass. The method is use is to roll and fold the plug as shown in the picture, insert the compact package and let is deflate inside the ass.

Once inside the Pig-Hole is one of the most versatile ass toys I know. The fact that it gives in more easily than a solid plug makes it good for training the sphincter to relax more easily. Simply pull out the plug a bit, enjoy the stretch the plug’s body induces and let the ass suck the plug in again after a while and try again. Another way of training is wearing the plug for an extended period of time. The soft material and flexibility will allow the sphincter to shift the plug in a comfortable position while still stretching it. In order to avoid accidents I recommend using a diaper or a stopper plug with the Oxballs Pig-Hole.

A more or less forcefully open ass of cause is ideal for a lot of more or less evil activities. When you take a size with an internal diameter just a little bit smaller than the top’s dick the tightness of the Pig Hol- will feel like plowing a virgin’s ass. The grooves inside the body furthermore add stimulation. Some testees even used the Pig Hole as a masturbation toy. Naturally an open hole invites liquids to be poured into like lube or piss.

When it comes to fisting the Oxballs Pig-Hole is a very nifty toy. The stretchiness of the material in combination with the size of the internal diameter of the XXL version allows a hand up to a glove size 8 to be pushed through the opening. This has two benefits: First, there is not friction on the sensible mucosa of the sphincter which can cause unpleasant feeling. So the fisting scene can go on longer. This lack of friction is also useful when you engage in depth training with according toys. Since there is not friction (sensation) you can fully focus on relaxing your second sphincter. Of cause you can turn the plug inside out to torment the sphincter even more (for an even more intense torment I recommend the Oxballs Finger Fucker I reviewed some weeks ago). Second if your regular fist partner’s hand is your current training level, adding a few millimeter of material thickness can spice up that width training again.

Last month I visited Arizona, the origin state of Bad Dragon for the first time in my life. Blown away by the harsh beauty of desert, I will most likely visit again, though in a month when the temperatures are a bit more modest. The literal core of every anal toy is the material which is it made out of. Back in 2008 Bad Dragon way one of the first companies which only used pure platinum silicone. Their level of experience shows in every toy. Bad Dragon is hands down the industry standard when it comes to coloration! Platinum silicone is a material which takes on colors really easily but mastery of shades and patterns, the use of glow in the dark and UV reactive colors is unmatched by any one in the anal toy industry until now! To help you find your dream coloration, Bad Dragon has a 3D configurator on their website which also features a sizing tool.

The Deep Suction Cup Inside Orochi’s Base

The sizing tool should be used with a grain of salt though. I have been ordering toys from their website for almost 10 years now and despite a good imagination how big a toy will be and despite the sizing tool, I sometimes end up with toys which are way larger than expected or considerably smaller (like my large Tempest which I imagined to be bigger than the toy which I have gotten). So I have a few toys which I just keep as the silicone sculptures they are declared as in the custom form and rarely use because they need really (in)experienced holes for them to bring pleasure.

An important decision when configuring your toy is choosing the right firmness. Bad Dragon offers four firmnesses now which are Extra-Soft (Shore 00-50), Soft (Shore A2), Medium (Shore A5) and Firm (Shore A8 which is still relatively soft). The larger a toy, the firmer it will feel because there is more mass to compress. Harder firmnesses will also make texture feel more rugged. Spikes the massage in soft firmness can actually start to feel scratchy (but will never actually scratch because the material is too soft). It will also make the toy harder to take because the more complex and rigid the surface, the harder it will be for the hole to relax and open up. If you want to ride your toy, choosing a firm base with a differently firm shaft is always a good idea because it will give the toy a better stand.

Finally you can customize a toy with various options: The suction cup is probably the most often chosen one as it gives the toy an even better stand than a firm base. The cup is really deep and uses the entire surface of the base so it can create a heavy duty vacuum. If you like to play in your bathroom, the suction cup is almost a must-have because it allows you to fix the dildo onto the floor or a tiled wall. Last year Bad Dragon introduced their version of a Vac-U-Lock hole, the Dragon Mount. This opened Bad Dragon toys to a world of accessories from grips over suction cups to fuck machines. However most fuck machines cannot handle the weight and length of massive XL silicone toys. When you are playing with a partner, the hole can also be an anchor point for your thumb for better guiding the toy into his anus. Sadly the suction cup is incompatible with their Dragon Mount Vac-U-Lock hole so it is hard to recommend which one to get. Usually, I always recommend to get the hole because it opens the world to such versatile play. But historically I have been getting most Bad Dragons with a suction cup and never missed the Dragon Mount hole on my newer toys where I could have gotten it instead of the suction cup. Maybe this is a good piece of advice: When you order smaller toys and have a fuck machine, go for the Dragon Mount. For XL toys, the suction cup is the better option because it will keep your toy from sliding away when knotting HARD. The finally add-on is the cum tube. It is a silicone tube which runs through the shaft until the tip of the head. At the bottom is syringe is attached which can be filled with cum lube to shoot into your rectum. Especially with large toys you need large quantities of lube to full the tube with lube before it shoots into your body. For this short-lived effect the cleaning effort increases massively. I have tried the effect several times and it was not worth the effect, increased cleaning effort and more difficult handling (the cum tube and syringe is permanently attached to the toy and dangles around). But after every Bad Dragon review I publish, I get several messages by people who are in love with their cum shooting toy. So before you choose one, I recommend trying it out with a friend’s toys if the added sensation is worth everything it entails. Or buy a Lil’Squirt from Bad Dragon as a try out toy.

The Untextured Ventral Groove on Tempest’s Shaft

Before I take a look at how the different toys perform in play, let’s talk about why next to coloration and different degrees of firmness, platinum silicone is the best material for anal toys. Most importantly, platinum silicone is 100% body safe. Unlike other materials which often use non-body safe plasticizers, platinum silicone does not leak any substances which can be dangerous in the short or long term. However, this only applies to the base material! Chinese toy companies have been known to use colors and dyes which are potentially dangerous and which can leak into your rectum. The rectum’s mucosa is one of the most absorbent body parts. So be very careful what kind of substances you are introducing to this body area!

Speaking of being careful what you are putting into your body, platinum silicone has a supersmooth surface. So it can be easily cleaned and it makes it difficult for bacteria to linger. For cleaning simple put the toy in warm dishsoap water, let it soak and rinse it off (I take post play bath with the toys on a regular basis). For extra cleaning, spray them with sanitizer or put them in an autoclave. In order to keep the toys beautiful for years to come, do not store them together with other materials. Different plasticizers can damage the toy. The same applies for silicone lube. The silicone oil can solvate the silicone so better stick to water- or oil-based lube. Finally, especially soft silicone can easily crease of get dents. So best store the toys upright without touching other toys.

Tempest’s Smooth, Tapering Glans for Easy Entry

Tempest starts out with a conically, slightly triangular glans. At the top there is a small dent where the urethra (or cum tube) would be. If you run your finger tips over the glans, you can feel a very slight ridge at the top side but to be frank even a very sensitive anus cannot feel it. The head sticks out very prominently from the shaft so there is a deep rim around it.

From below the glans, the shaft bows softly to all sides, especially towards the front and thus gently stretching the sphincter. Except a narrow smooth ventral groove the entire shaft is textured. The sides are only shallowly textured while on the opposite side of the ventral groove there is a cluster of more intense texture. Unlike on most other Bad Dragon toys, the ridges and bumps do not look like scales but imitate feathers. The texture depth is a medium shallow so it is noticeable without irritating the hole too much, especially in softer firmnesses.

The plumage faces downwards which helps taking the toys deeper and creates very different sensations depending on whether you push the toy in or pull it out. When you push Tempest in, the bumps gently massage the sphincter. The untextured ventral groove presses against the prostate while the shaft extends outwards. Once you reverse the motion, the feather tips push against the anus, making the release of the next ridge a bit jerky instead of a smooth motion. Due to the smooth edges and relatively shallow texture depth, it does not feel like a barb but a more intense feeling of the texture. Especially when twisting the toy while fucking a bottom with Tempest creates an interesting sensation because the going in feels noticeable different than the pulling out.

There is a small, yet interesting design feature above the base. Below the narrowest point downwards towards the base, the texture gets deeper. So when resting while riding or when really bearing down on the toy, it actually becomes more intense. One testee called it the rewards for taking Tempest all the way. When you choose the a size above medium, the Tempest’s tip actually starts stimulating your second sphincter when you go so deep so both of your sphincters get teased hard when bouncing and riding it all the way down.

Orochi’s Textured Head

All of this in combination with the easily opening up glans make Tempest a good beginner toy and perfect for people who’s hole is not so experienced with textured toys but want to venture in this direction.

Playing with Orochi

The general shape of Orochi is defined by different strands or tentacles converging together at the top. The head is formed by nine distinct veins which are textured with downwards facing v-shaped scales. Because of this, the head is heavily textured and very stimulating. Except the apex tip itself which is dull. So taking Orochi requires a bit of prestretch with tapering toys before trying to take him. But just riding and teasing the hole with the texture, letting it slide along the closed anus can be a delightful foreplay.

Like the head, the shaft is formed by different strands or tentacles. They are bulging and turning, creating nooks and recesses and an almost knot-like shape. So when riding Orochi, there is not like that one knotting moment but an ebb and flow of pressure and release. The different strands are lined with scale-like texture which gets increasingly coarse from the sides to the center. Left and right the scales are small, like on a sneak. On top they are shallow horizontal ridges like a dragon’s armor.

Through the oval shape and the way he curves, Orochi has a distinct from front and back. However, he is not so directionally shaped like knotted toys that you cannot ride him perpendicularly. When you push down that way, your prostate will ride down along the curve of the lateral strands. Not only will the micro texture irritate the prostate in a delightful way, but through the curvature the pressure will be a wave of increase, decrease and then increase again.

Like most complex toys, Orochi is best enjoyed inside the hands of a skilled fister. Through altering the insertion angle the head’s texture can feel coarser or smoother for more or less anus stimulation. Because the different strands are quite prominent, twisting the head inside the anus has its own turbine like quality. Once completely inserted twisting (while moving him in and out) is also very fun. This way different textures can stimulate different areas. It is quite fun to irritate/ tire out the hole with one texture and turn the toy 90°, introducing the coarser, bigger scales to the area which before was only exposed to the micro texture.

Despite the complex pattern, when you have trained your hole a bit and have done some prestretching. Orochi is not that hard to take. Especially in soft, it is a good toy for a texture beginner to try to experience different patterns and stimulations. Since the bulge comes gradually instead of a big, dull knot, you can ride the toy and conquer it over time.

If you take away all the texture, Slater is a triple knot toy which will increasingly stretch your sphincter. But luckily you cannot take away the texture which makes Slater to one of the most interesting and difficult to describe toy.

The sides of all three knots are textured with thin, curveted highly raised wall-like ridges. The top of these ridges are textured with very small bumps. The top and the bottom of the “shaft” are textured with lines of higher raised bumps. The surface between these lines is textured with a very shallow  scale pattern.

When just riding Slater up and down, most of his magic is lost. The complex texture makes him actually hard to take. There is always something in the way, resisting to just gently slip through the sphincter. Pulling out, the texture massages the sensitive anus. If you are lying relaxed in a sling or are flexible enough to move around on the toy, Slater is a unique hole pleaser. The texture which before made it difficult to take the toy deeper now suddenly starts to caress and massage. Ridges start to scratch just the right place or add pointed pressure on the prostate.

The Lines of Tiny Horns Going Around the Base are Quite Simulating when Grinding

The base is textured with curved bands of points horns. When you knot the toy completely and start grinding the base, they can stimulate the outside of your prostate or your clitoris if you stick it up your front hole. If you want to engage into this kind of play, I do not recommend getting the toy in firm of choose a firm base. While the horns might look small, in firm firmness, they can be VERY rigid and unforgiving.

While Tempest was a beginner’s toy, Slater is for connoisseurs and textured experienced people. When you just dully ride the toy, it will feel boring, almost annoying. It takes time to discover and explore the very complex bulges and recesses. Slater can be enjoyed alone; one of my testees placed him in a yoga block he could turn easily to get the stimulation just where he wanted it to be. But he really starts to shine when you can completely relax and let someone else guide you through the many stimulations this very complex toy has to offer.

Wine Rack Vertical as Dildo Storage

Life is what is happening while you make other plans. For the start of the new review seasons, I planned a very different post. But on Friday while cleaning up the playroom I tweeted about a simple new addition: A wine rack to store realistic dildos. This simple, quick & dirty tweet sparked SO much interest, that I decided to write about the apparently topic of interest.

I have bought a wine rack for soft, realistic dildos mostly from SquarePeg. Due to the size and soft firmness, they do not stand up or fall over easily. Lying down they take up a lot of space so I was looking for an ergonomically and economically storage solution which I hope to have found in this wine rack. As you will read it is far from perfect yet until now the best solution I have come up with. If you have a better one, please get in touch!

For easy cleaning and to avoid reaction between potential surface treatment of wood for example, I was looking for a plastic wine rack. This particular one is from mDesign and I ordered for 23.99€ off Amazon.de. I chose the light grey over the black one because at roughly 55€ the black was way more than I would spend on such an item. And since I indeed to put it inside a metal IKEA Hyllis shelf, the color actually fit.

Silicone is a very sticky material (flint on toy pics anyone?)! Unlike wine bottles, the dildos will stick to the rack, making rather the rack more than the dildo. Because of this I used zip ties to fix the rack to the shelf. This is far from perfect, does not stop all movement but in the end is sufficient. I briefly considered Velcro ties instead of plastic zip ties but neglected the idea for easier cleaning of plastic ones. There were very fancy and sleek racks out there. But since they do not have even improvised anchor points as my new one has, I did not buy them. Before you chose a rack, make should you have a plan how to connect the rack to the shelf in which it stands.

Especially soft silicone creases easily. Since I have bought this rack primarily for me SquarePeg toys, I accept that due to the weight of the toys and the edges of the rack and the zip ties, they will get creases. Most silicone toys will get creases over time (like when throwing a bunch of them in a bucket during play), but if you want to keep your toys in perfect mint condition this storage solution is not for you. Because of this wine racks made out of bent wire at the front and the back are not suitable! The entire weight of the toy will rest on these two small points which will then dig deep into the material. Also, the toy will slack and stick to the toy below making them impossible to pull out.BeinBeing a wine rack, it is also only a solution for roughly cylindrical toys (aka realist dildos) roughly the diameter of a wine bottle (up to Ø80mm) without too big base that aren’t too long. Just for fun I put a Mr Hankey’s Toys Lampwick Uncut XXL (too long, base blocks slot below), a Bad Dragon Terra XL (knot it too big, base blocks surrounding slots) and a Bad Dragon Austin (knot is too big and to heavy so it has to be balanced not to fall out) inside it and I think you see the problem. This is especially annoying since while Terra stands very sturdily on its base, the first and the last toy can almost only be stored lying down, taking up a lot of space yet are too big for the rack.

The same accounts for plugs! An Oxballs Pig-Hole XXL just fits into the rack; a Pig-Hole FF is too big already. The Topped Toys Gape Keeper fits up to size 100 or the SquarePeg Acorn up to L. But due to the stickyness, it is considerably easier to just store them standing upright in a shelf than storing them vertically in a rack like this one.

This is my wine rack fully stacked with head-heavy realistic dildos. As you can see, the bases overlap making them a bit difficult to pull out. Also, unlike on a shelf the top cannot see the dildo so he has to know which base belongs to which dildo. So this solution is far from perfect! But it is a huge improvement over trying to balance the dildos standing up and a number of them falling out when just grabbing one.

I hope this little review/ guide help you make up your mind what is the most effective and accessible storage for your dildos. Because after all: A toy you cannot reach easily will seldom be used!

When most people hear “Oxballs tunnel plug” they immediately think off the many different iterations of the Pig-Hole. This review is here to fix that! Because especially when you are a texture junky like me, you are missing out on a lot when you are miss the Butt-Hole.

Construction

Being a tunnel plug the Butt-Hole starts out with an opening. The rim is a thin-walled bulge. It’s the first of five bulges which further down increase in width and thickness. The diameter also increases so they form a barrel-shaped body which slightly arches to one side. Since the shaft below the last bulge is thinner than the bludge itself (duh…), you could call it a neck. But the size difference is not so considerable as on other plugs.

The Oxballs Butt-Hole #3

The thick base is eclectically to follow the shape of an ass crack. Like all Oxballs tunnel plugs it is “textured” with a relievo of the product name. Unlike the Pig-Hole the size is not embossed so you have to keep that in mind of feel it.

Like all Oxballs butt toys, the Butt-Hole is made out of platinum silicone which is 100% body safe and easy to clean. It only comes in their standard firmness and not in the softer morph silicone. Color-wise you can choose between black and red.

There are three sizes available. The size 1 is a bit smaller than the Pig-Hole Medium, the #2 a bit smaller than the large and the largest #3 I have bought Oxballs claims to be close to the Pig-Hole XXL. But having two different Pig-Holes in my collection (standard and morph) and playing with them a lot, I would say from the felt size it sits right between the XL and XXL. Though when choosing your size, consider that a textured toy of the same size will always be more difficult to take than a smooth one like the Pig-Hole.

The Butt-Hole is a fuck plug! And it works very differently if it is used passively or actively on the sub.

“Passive” use is putting the Butt-Hole into the bottom and fuck into it – either with a dildo or even better a real dick. As the glans and shaft penetrate the tunnel, it extends and even straightens out a bit, depending on the dick’s anatomy. This sets the bulges in motion and massages both the rectum and especially the prostate because the highest bulge has been strategically placed where the prostate is located on most males. Fucking an anus via the Butt-Hole is stimulating for the top. The cluster of bumps around the entrance stimulate the glans and shaft well.
