The Oxballs Clone MAX Ball Stretcher

It has been over four years that I have last reviewed an Oxballs ball stretcher. Despite having reviewed so many over the past eleven years, I get many reader questions regarding them. So I decided to take a look an exotic model today which are designed to stretch your balls lower.

Construction

The Clone Duo is a set of two funnel-shaped ball stretchers; one black, one blue. It has a very short nuzzle on top of a big cone. It comes in two sizes: The Clone and the Clone Duo MAX which is the basis for this review.

The two stretchers have the same design and dimensions standing 41.5mm tall (37.5mm at the standard version). On top they have a diameter of 47mm and 68mm at the bottom. The top aperture has a diameter of 31mm and the bottom of 42mm. This means that the wall strength increases. This means that there is a spring force working towards the bottom.

The exterior is textured with texts and graphics: Around the nozzle runs a band of the product and brand name, the cone features bold arrows pointing down – just in case you were wondering in which direction the force works. On the MAX there is “HUGE” written between the arrows so you don’t confuse them with the standard ones.

They are made out of platinum silicone making them very skin-friendly. The super-smooth surface reduces the chance of skin and to some extend hair getting caught. While the material is stretchty, it is more rigid and more importantly more shape stable than (Flex-)TPR even when exposed to kinetic energy and warmth over extended period of time (like in being worn 24/X). If you prefer to lube up your stretcher before putting them on, I recommend sticking to water- or oil-based lubes. Oxballs claims it is fine to use silicone lube but the silicone oil inside the lube will over time disintegrate the surface making it sticky. Speaking of sticky: Silicone itself is always a bit sticky so regardless how thoroughly you clean them, there will always be flint and dust on them.

 

Different materials use different plasticizers which can damage each other! Because of that it is important to store your ball stretchers apart without touching each other like in a shape sorter. Before putting them away, you should clean them, especially when lube has been used. Simply soak them in hot dish soap water, rinse them off, sanitize and let them dry before storing them away.

More than most other ball stretchers the Clone Duo is designed to stretch and extend your balls over time, turning them into low hangers. Unlike with stacking several rings above each other the spring force constantly and softly pushes your balls down. The lasting stretch might not come as quickly as with other methods (esp. like wearing a metal ball stretcher 24/x) but it is a gentle stretch that will affect your everyday life not too much – if you choose the right size. If you can already comfortably wear a 35mm ball stretcher, go for the MAX, otherwise start with the regular one.

As written above, the stretch force works in the direction of the arrow. So the lowest stretch is when you put the top aperture towards your body and the bottom one towards your balls. The next step up is turning it around and let the bottom press against your groin. From there you have to work quite a bit with stacking stretch rings till the next step which is stacking two Clones above each other. If you want to go harder and more, the next escalation is letting the bottom holes face each other and the final step is to the top holes meet in the middle. Though in order to achieve that you really need (meaty) low-hangers.

Meaty is a key word: The more intensely you stretch, the more likely it is especially for small balls to stay in place when putting the stretcher on or even worse slip through. Again, with added small ring you can prevent this. But with all training, who said it is going to be easy.

If you already have somewhat low hangers and enjoy a good swing, the Clone is worth a try. Weighing 68g each and stretching your balls good, there is certainly a good tug and swing. Of course it is far from a metal ball stretcher but my testees enjoyed it because you can wear the Clone longer than a metal ball stretcher at same stretch level.

When you plan on wearing the stretcher constantly for best stretching result, consider the size. The spring force causing cone-shape makes the Clone way bulkier than other ball stretchers. You have a very noticeable – and visible – silicone lump between your legs. Most testees got used to the feeling and did not describe it as more annoying than other stretchers. But there is still a cone of shame around your balls others can see (If you want to put a cone of shame around your entire junk, Oxballs got your covered too).

Just in case you are wondering why you find this review in the Impact Toy category: Being modeled after a baseball bat, you can of course use it to hit people. I talk about the BaseMyBat as an impact toy in the second part of the play section.

Construction

In the whole world European anal toys Organotoy has a very special place: Founded 15 years ago it was the first European toy maker to only use platinum silicone. Today they are one of the few companies only using ISO 10993-10 compliant raw materials and are compliant with the ISO “sex toy” standard 3533 2021. This shows their dedication to product safety and quality.

Of course their platinum silicone has all the properties anal players love: Hypoallergenic and 100% body-safe, easy to clean with warm dish-soap water, easy to sanitize afterwards using spray-on sanitizer or even autoclaving and sliding in easily due to the super-smooth surface. Just please do not use silicone lube for this toy. The silicone oil inside the lube will over time attack the silicone and make the surface sticky.

As standard Organotoy “only” offers 20 colors. But they will mix any others that are not part of the standard range. If you want make the toy even more yours a former Hollywood FX artists works there and does custom airbrushes according to your design (like the biohazard sign on the first ever Sit-Plug  which I gifted to my BF) or for delicate colorings (my Rainbow Ripley was done this way). So in theory you could get your favorite baseball team’s logo in your toy and fuck yourself with it.

Another great customization feature is that you can virtually order any firmness between Shore 00-20 (almost too soft to play) up to feels-like-metal Shore A30. They have the common firmnesses in stock but will mix others for you. So if you like it extremely soft or need it extremely hard (literally) – especially if you want to use the bat for impact play – Organotoy is one of the few manufacturers who makes toys in the extreme ends of the Shore scale.

The BaseMyBall has the shape of a baseball bat used for sports. It is 490mm long; 250mm barrel and 230mm grip. The barrel has a diameter of 53mm. This means this is not a full size baseball bat. It is closer to a one-hand training bat than a full size Louisville Slugger and considerably  thinner…

… which is good for depth play. This toy is made for everybody who has the fantasy of being fucked with a baseball bat yet feared the unforgivingness of aluminum or even wood (splinters in the nether regions anyone?). Due to the grip, the BaseMyBall is quite easy to handle even with somewhat lubey fingers. In softer firmnesses this even applies when you want to stuff your ass with it. If you go for a higher firmness degree (Shore A10 and up) there is too much leverage.

The toy itself is a bit anti-climactic. It is just a smooth barrel. So you get the feeling of is sliding in an out but not more. I could see great potential for this toy if Organotoy turned it into a club or mace with bumps and ridges and grooves added to the barrel and shortened the grip a little bit.

Taking the toy requires pre-stretching because the tip is flat with a little domed rim. There is nothing to nicely make open up. This especially accounts for your second hole! The bat is not for novices! But if you have a bit if experience, it is a nice to toy to “straighten” the colon out.

Being modeled after a baseball bat, there is of course the question: How does it perform as an impact toy? Well, that depends.

For spanking it does not really work because of the material. Silicone is simply too soft and the barrel to heavy. Mine was made in Shore A20 and still the barrel flops around then trying swing the top at the impact area. When you grab is right below the barrel and swing it like a club, the grip bounces and swings causing unintended impacts. They are not intense but irritating for the sub because they are chaotic. Regardless how controlled and rhythmic you hit him with the barrel the grip flops around unevenly. Maybe a split firmness of A30 until the beginning of the barrel and an A10 or A20 for barrel could fix that.

Baseball bats are also often used for CBT. They are just the perfect graphic ball busting tool for rough play. But again hitting somebody between the legs does not work due to the material. For what the BaseMyBall is great for is strapping your sub to the floor, legs apart and swing the barrel against his nuts. Due to the softness the bat swings easily with a lot of momentum bruising the balls nicely.

Wrist to Ball Restraint

The Mr S Wrist to Ball Restraint

Construction

Five individual pieces form this restraint setup. Literally the central element is 31mm wide piece of the typical Mr S soft yet sturdy bridle leather which is burnished and deburred. It is folded several times and riveted to house stainless steel D-rings on both ends. They are 38mm wide and 27mm high and have a wire strength of 6mm so they are really heavy duty! In the middle sits a locking pin.

By threading  the belt through the D-rings, this leather bars connects two cuff style wrist restraints. They are not padded but lined with soft garment leather for a bit more restrictive feeling. The belt is closed with roller buckles and houses a D-ring between two rivets. The restraints are functional and effective, covering a range of wrist circumference form 11cm to 22cm. Depending on how big the sub’s wrist are, you might be able to push the ends of the cuff closing belt over the locking pin to lock the restraints. The roller buckles are wider than the width of the D-ring. This means they “firmly” connected to the connector and cannot be exchange for different, for example padded ones or bondage mitts.

The Scrotum Strap

The locking pin in the middle of the connection bar is the anchor point for a 24cm long and 1.9cm wide strap of bridle leather. It’s bottom is lined with garment leather for a total width of 2.5cm. At the top eight holes for attaching the strap to the locking pin are punched. At the bottom another locking pin is riveted to the strap. It is the anchor point for 35.5cm long and 1.9cm wide piece of extra soft, unlined bridle leather. There is one hole punched at one end and nine at the other. This strap is for attaching the restraint setup to the scrotum and covers a ball neck circumference from a already surprisingly large 15cm to massive, (saline-)pumped 30cm.

The Roller Buckle

To connect all straps, the Wrist to Ball Restaint comes with two small keyed alike Master padlocks. If you already have a keyed alike padlock system for your play space, you can use your pad lock with up to 3.5mm shale wire strength.

The primary purpose of this toy is to create a physical feedback loop between the hands and the balls. The human body usually try to “work out” pain sensation through muscle movement. So regardless of what you are doing to the sub as soon as he tries to move his arms to help processing the sensation his balls will move. The shorter the connection strap, the stronger to force transmition. This is especially devious if the balls are pre-bruised so hurt from movement of when you line the scrotum strap with a (dull) pin strap). I found that particularly fun in combination with CBT or e-stim around the balls. Even more so when you hang a movement sensitive e-stim device from the padlock on the scrotum strap.

The Connector

Of course, this toy also works as a piece of bondage gear without additionally induced sensations. The most basic use is to use it as simple handcuffs without the scrotum part. The connector is not as rigid as a metal on like on Hiatts 840 handcuffs but has less slack and torsional stiffness than carabiners or rope. The connector allows the cuffs to be grabbed easily and forcefully (just make sure the locking pin is between your fingers) so you can handle and direct the sub.

When you include the scrotum setup, the simplest bondage layout is to keep the sub’s arms down. Handily the restraint can be worn below cloths. More demanding is incorporating it into any stress bondage position and watch him try to get into himself into a somewhat comfortable position while he is tugging on his balls. Once the sub has found a somewhat comfortable position, smack his balls to encourage some movement.

The Cuffs in the Smallest and LargestSetting

Putting the restraints on is easy: First put the wrists of the sub either in front or behind his body and fetter them either with the connector’s locking pin either facing towards or away from the body (yes, each of the four combinations has a different effect). Then Tie the scrotum strap around the balls neck, push the single hole of the connection strap over it and close using a padlock. Finally, adjust the tightness of the tug with the length of the connection strap and push the corresponding hole over the connector’s locking pin. Having put the process into words makes it sound more complicated than it actually is. Since I figured out how to use the individual elements, it takes me less than a minute to fetter a sub completely.

The Riveted D-Rings on the Cuff and Connector

When the locking pin is facing the body, there is a little bit more slack in the connection strap so less force is transmitted. For more intense play, let the locking pin face away from the sub’s body. The restraint position has a bit stronger effect. Behind the body is the more traditional position. Due to the elbows being a bit twisted and stretched, there is less way for them to act out things so again it is more intense. Also, the balls are prominently tugged back for easier targeting. However, this way the connection strap covers the anus. If you want to fuck your bottom hard, put the restraint in front of the body. Depending on the sub’s physiology, this even works in doggystyle. For ball torture this position works only limited because the dick is in the way. But if you make a bit of stress bondage out of it by pulling the arms up using the D-rings on the cuffs, you get a nice, strong balls tugging again. Just be careful not to overdo it because the wrist cuffs are not made for suspension bondage!

Conslusion: Unique and effective combination of CBT and bondage.

New Slubb Power Unit

The New Slubb Power Unit

When Slubb launched their product, I am probably one of the first guys who got and then reviewed their innovative toy. Having focused on developing the milking attachment itself, they first sold it with an Einhell oscillating multi-tool (which I reviewed in the original test). Now they introduced their own power unit which I am going to take a look at here – exactly two years afterI reviewed  the original unit.

Design

The new power unit comes in nicely branded box (which I intended to safe for pictures but misplaced…). Inside is the power unit, the lithium ion battery, the charger, a hex key for installing the Slubb and two manuals. One for the machine used as an actual power tool (probably included for legal reasons) and as a power unit for the Slubb.

The new Power Controll Dial

At 280mm overall length and roughly measuring 51x55mm at the point where you hold the toy, it is around the standard size of an oscillating multi-tool and about the same size as the Einhell predecessor. It is comfortable to grip for people with medium sized hands and upwards. Petit hands will have to invest some effort.

At 953g ready-to-play it is a whopping 123g heavier than the Einhell. If you put the power unit into a stand (like a Manfrotto Superclamp or a bicycle repair holder) this doesn’t matter. There is also a screw in the bottom of the head you can use to attach the unit to a holder. But if you manually move it up and down the dick for a stroking stimulation, the wrist can get tired quickly! At least if you edge and milk for hours like me…

The Heavy Duty Metal Head

The head of the unit is made out of die-cast aluminum. This makes it a bit head-heavy but also gives it a very quality feel! If it falls, it will not get damaged easily!

On the old Einhell unit a screw in the easy-to-turn power dial prevented you from going to too high settings. On this unit the power dial is a bit harder to turn. This is a great improvement because you can now more finely and slowly adjust the intensity. At 3° oscillation angle and a theoretically oscillation frequency between 5,000 and 19,000 oscillations per minute the unit is a bit more powerful than the old one. Without a limiter, you can turn the power up all to 6 bit my recommendation is to stay below 3 with is rough 10,000 oscillations per minute. Anything higher feels uncomfortable and requires lots all well applied lube.

Depending on the intensity, it can get quite loud. Around setting 3 I got 82db which considerably louder than the old Einhell. Bit since the old unit was not quite by any standard, I don’t really complain. If you want a “quite” unit, you have to enter professional spheres with big three digit price tags. The intensity also determines how long the machine runs. I got around on hour of play out of it with a factory new battery and the battery takes an hour to charge.

In the handling, nothing has changed compared to the old model: Once it is attached to the power unit, adjust the loop that is it one hole larger than the circumference of the dick, apply ample silicone lube on the rubber strap and the dick and start the engines. There is no specific place where to apply the Slubb. The sensation is felt most strongly on the glans/ frenulum but moving up and down the shaft has its own interesting sensation. The more you get up the shaft, the stronger the vibrations are felt.

Like the old power unit, the new one made the rounds among my testees. It still made people with erectile dysfunction cum because you do not need a hard dick to experience the sensations of the Slubb. It’s also still the perfect tool to get another orgasm out of a well-used dick. And if you have a big dick, the 220mm length of the Slubb should be large enough to give pleasure where milking sleeves of massagers are too constraining. And since the Slubb is attached using a screw, it does not come off unlike massager sleeves. For a more detailed look, check out the review of the original Slubb.

The Slubb should only be used with silicone lube for two reasons. First, silicone lube lasts longer so you do not have to relube ever 3 to 5 minutes as I tested with water-based lube. Second, the silicone oil in the lube maintains the rubber. Cleaning of the Slubb is easy: Unscrew, bath in warm soap water, dry and you are ready to go again.

Battery inside the New Charger

In the construction chapter I wrote that I tend to edge and milk for hours. At least as long as the battery lasts. Preferring the up and down movement on my well-lubed glans and shaft, I have to hold the power unit in my hand. The unit gets noticeable warm. Not dangerously hot but very warm. These tools are not designed to be used continuously for extended periods of time. So you might run into an overheating shutdown like I once did. If you want to use it for hours, you have to get a really high-end pro unit with a power cord for several hundreds of Euros. For most sexual a consumer unit like this one is sufficient. But if you are a power-milker, hardcore edger or a pro-dom you should see if other power unit options fit you better. Though still out of the box, this power unit is still good for a long, satisfying and intense milking and edging.

The Fetters Scrotum Strap & Weight Anchor Strap

Sometimes a review takes strange ways until it gets published here. Last week I have gotten a message asking for my opinion in these two toys. Having been using them for years, I wanted to send him the link to the corresponding review. But it turns out: Despite having been using them for years, I have never reviewed them! Let’s fix that!

Both Straps Unrolled

Construction

The design of the Scrotum Strap is quite simple: It is a 355mm long strap of belt leather. The lower 130mm length is 30mm wide, forming the body which then tapers to 220mm long and 15mm wide belt. Through the belt 7 holes with a 15mm center-to-center spacing are punched of which only 5 are usable. Onto the body a locking post and two 13mm wide d-rings under a slap of leather are riveted. Between the locking post and the first d-ring is a slot to thread the belt through. The Scrotum Strap comes with a pad lock.

The Sharp, Undeburred Edge of the Scrotum Strap

The basic design is also reflected in the material and manufacturing: The belt leather is stiff and neither burnished nor deburred. This means the edges are sharp until the leather is well worn in which will take quite a while. Since I rarely use the Scrotum Strap due to having several other toys to choose from, mine is still stiff and a bit sharp. If you want to speed up the breaking in-process, rub a little bit of neatsfoot oil on it and knead the toy while watching TV.

The Weight Anchor Strap borrows the basic design idea of the Scrotum Strap but develops it further. The body of the toy is made out of two layers of soft garment leather. The height depends on which version you get: The one buckle which I have has a 33mm tall body, the two buckle a 56mm tall one. On each side of the body a 180mm long and 14mm wide strap of belt leather is riveted. At the bottom a Ø19mm welded o-ring is riveted.

It is closed around the balls about the same way as the Scrotum Strap. On top of one strap a 240mm long and 14mm wide belt is riveted perpendicularly, while on top of the other a small roller buckle is. The belt goes through a slot inside the body and thus grips around the cuff wrapping around the sack’s neck.

Just like on the previous toy, the manufacturing is a bit basic: The perpendicular edges of the body is just bare cut-off leather without any treatment, the slot is not whipped. Since both toys are basic CBT toys you can overlook these shortcoming but considering the price compared to a set of cuff-style restraints I would have expected more.

The Padlock to Close the Scrotum Strap

As simple as the design is, it is ingenious: You wrap the body around the sack’s neck, thread the belt end through the slot and tighten it until you reach a snug yet comfortable fit. Then you thread the belt through the d-rings and close the toy by locking it onto the sub.

As long as the leather is not broken in, the adjustment process is cumbersome: Due to the stiffness it takes some adjustment to get it around the balls tightly. Threading it through the d-rings is a nightmare because of the friction. For me, this created a bit of a vicious cycle because I had easier to use toys which I then preferred and thus never broke the Scrotum Strap in.

This is a shame because it is a nifty little toy with much potential. The smallest diameter of it is 24mm, the largest 42mm so it covers a wide range of possible scrotums. As written above due to the position of the locking pin and one of the d-rings you cannot tighten it further than the third to last hole. A friend of mine has been using his Scrotum Strap for half a decade on a regular basis. It is broken in and thus soft. He uses it with some of his slave as a reminder of belonging by simply locking it around the balls for a day or so. Unlike a chastity cage, the Scrotum Strap will not impair any everyday activity but once locked cannot be taken off. So it is a nice, psychological reminder that someone else has control over you when a locked collar, wrist or ankle chain are not an option. If you are a bit of a sadist, locking the Scrotum Strap around your sub’s balls can speed up the breaking in process. The warmth and moisture of the junk in combination with the movement will soften the leather up over time. Until then, it will be uncomfortably to wear and create some abrasions and burns.

A Shackle can be Used to Increase the Capacity of the D-Ring

For more action oriented play, the Scrotum Strap is a secure and tight anchor point on the balls. So in a full body lockdown it can be used to tie even the balls in place. In more mobile settings, I like to connect the ankle restraints to it to restrict the sub’s movement. Of course this also works with wrist restraints but my favorite is connecting the Scrotum Strap with a Handlock for minimal slack wrist-to-ball restraints.

If you want to connect the Scrotum Strap with another restraint bear in mind since the belt is threaded through the d-rings the space between the apex and the belt is only 5mm! While this might be enough for a padlock, if you want to use carabiners use them together with shackles. Another alternative are folded nylon tension straps.

The O-Ring at the Bottom of the Anchor Staps

The Weight Anchor Strap attaches to the body the same ways as the previous toy: Thread the belt through the slot and around the body to the roller buckle. Since there is not friction and the ball cuff’s body is made out of soft leather that easily wraps around the scrotum, this is quite easy. On this toy you can use all the punched holes creating a internal diameter between 27mm and 42mm. If your sub has smaller or less meaty balls, you can punch additional holes to tighten the restraint even further. For meatier balls, you have to just give it a try since the body is very soft and only stiff in the middle where the belt runs around, I managed to put the toys even on bull balls.

The softness in combination with the wide range of adjustability enables a really secure fit that is comfortable over extended periods of time even the tug on the toy is big. As the name of the toy suggests, it is made for weights. Most people use parachutes for this kind of play but they are only good for so much pulling force. If you add a momentum by letting the weight swing, the snap fastener either pops open or a ball slips through the thin ring the parachute creates. This does not happen with the Weight Anchor Strap. Since it comfortably yet securely compresses the ball’s neck, it stays in plays up to weight amounts way beyond which is medically advisable (the maximum amount of weights I have suspended from a sub’s scrotum using this toy were 10+kg. Don’t try this at home!). If you want to use climbing carabiners instead of threading rope or tension straps through the o-ring, you will have create a larger opening using shackles like with the above reviewed toy.

The Anchor Straps‘ Roller Buckle

The straps are riveted to slightly to the body that they don’t move. But they are long enough to allow for a pendulum movement. The movement stops quicker than on more freely hanging chains but the stiffness also transfers more of the kinetic energy onto the balls for an intense tug.

Of course you can also incorporate the Anchor Straps into bondage layouts by connecting them to restraints. But I found that the straps and the o-ring create more slack than the Scrotum Strap. But this is a very minor point of a toy hoarder. If you just have this one, it will perfectly work for tying down the balls or limit the subs movement by connecting either or both ankle and wrist restraints with this ball cuff.

If you have been following my bondage reviews you know, the only thing that is better than a D-ring are MOAR D-rings. The M5 Muzzle takes this to the max. How many D-rings can you fit on a head? Apparently the answer is “At least 15!” Are those all necessary? Most certainly not! Judging from my experience, 9 is the max to get the same level of fettering. Maybe even 7 are enough. But who cares? Why this toy is so great, I have already written in the Christmas gift tip. Why I need this toy is easy: My playroom only looks big. With the slopes of the roof it actually has a very small usable footprint. So I need toys and furniture to make the best out of the space.

And for the Headtrap I have already found the perfect spot to store it in between use – or to store my sub away. The first time I have heard about a Monster size to be in development was in late July/ early August of 2020. Sadly, developing new molds for silicone toys is not as easy as one might think. So cognitively I can understand why it took so long. But anally I crave to get stuFFed with this toy, so I hope Oxballs releases it rather sooner than later. And in rather firmer than softer silicoen.

The Spiked Parachute from Regulation

Sometimes weird things happen at ToyTorture.com: Following last week’s review of the Tenderizer Paddle, I have gotten a message asking if I have played with the Spiked Parachute from Regulation. Since this toy has been in my toy chest for it feels like forever, I went to my website to copy the review link for my reply. But it turns out: I actually have not yet reviewed this toy! It also turns out that I have some CBT gear from Regulation that I have not reviewed yet, a mistake I will soon correct!

Construction

This toy starts out as a standard parachute design. The double layer leather body is 5cm wide and is close by two snap buttons. There are two sets of male buttons so you can choose between either 2.5cm or 3cm diameter for size of the hole which goes around the neck of your balls. Through rivets three chains are attached to the body which come together in a ring that is large enough to house most tool carabiners. As the name says 24 sets of 5 spikes on the inside set this parachute apart from the tamer versions.

I have to be honest when I first unpacked this toy I was skeptical: The leather was a bit stiff and the ring to which the chains connect was not welded. But my worries were unfounded: Despite hanging a LOT of weight onto the ring it didn’t open up. This was also a good test for the snap buttons that even under large physical stress of a wiggling bottom or large amounts of weight swinging on them didn’t give in. And after some leather conditioner and warmth the leather of the body softened.

This toy works like every other parachute but just with a little interesting twist. Unlike normal parachutes this one works without attaching something onto it. Just put it around the subs balls and let him walk. The movement and friction around the parachute created by the moving legs is enough to cause the spikes to make an impression. Depending on the duration and the amount of movement this can be anything between annoying to agonizing. When you use this toy like a normal parachute a bit of caution is advisable. While the spikes should not break the skin they intensify any draft induced sensation. Usually subs enjoy the moving momentum of weights swinging from their balls but with this toy the added sting can become excruciating after some time. This effect is even more interesting when you tie the parachute just tight enough to a spread bar that the chains are taut. As soon as he starts to move the spikes will dig into his scrotum so he has to calm himself despite the pain in order to make it go away. This is especially fun when you tie the parachute to nipple clamps that will stick to the nipple even when wiggling a lot. The loop of induced sensation is phenomenal.

I had the most fun with this in a CBT competition with two subs: They had to choose a parachute by just looking at the top. One got a normal one, the other this spiked one and taking turns they had to endure the same strength of stimulation like amount of weight, weights dropping from a certain high until someone safeworded who then received a punishment that the other one determined in advance believe it was for himself (I know I can be evil at time).

The ElectraStim Viper

Construction

The Viper is a bi-polar CBT e-stim toy. It is made out of ElectraStim’s velvety soft yet sturdy red silicone. The toy has a roughly triagonal shape, measuring 77mm at the widest and tallest point and is 12mm thick. The body is slightly convex so it hugs the groin for a snug and comfortable fit. On top there are 2mm sockets for the leads. The front features some light geometric texture and the ElectraStim logo for a little bit more interesting look.

In the middle there is a 34x43mm oval hole. Three 6x8mm black conductive silicone bricks are on each side. At the bottom of the hole there is a 6mm wide gap between the tips of the “wings”. That is why I find ElectraStims’ designation as a “cockring” a bit unfortunate. I would rather call it a “cock clamp” because you can easily pull the wings apart and place it over the penis root. This does not only make the handling of the toy considerably easier than all the bi-polar cockrings in my collection, it also eliminates the sizing problem. Depending on the flaccid dick size, the Viper either targets more the penis root or also the scrotum on less well-endowed guys. The wings can be stretched up to 62mm which should cover most guys.

The conductive areas on the Viper have a small contact area and relatively little mass. So the sensation leans towards sting. But I was impressed by the conductivity. The toy’s design presses the poles onto the body so even without conductive gels there is a good transmission – if the bottom is shaved or at least well trimmed. Thick pubic hair can stop the transmission or make it very erratic, even with conductive gels. There are subs out there who enjoy random jolts depending on how the toy and the skin shift but for a controlled scene I would not recommend it!

For scenes in the playroom the Viper is a good CBT electrode. Easy to set-up and use, it offered little frills but good, reliable and intense sensations. The area it targets is an interesting one. It is the first electrode for years that is designed for the penis and scrotum root. While at a first glance this area does not sound so sensitive and nerve ending dense like the glans or the shaft, wait until you feel the first shock in your sensitive spermatic cord!

Where the Viper really starts to shine is when you leave the playroom and go out in the streets! Through the secure fit and socket placement, this toy can be securely and comfortably worn under clothes making it the perfect pairing for remote controlled e-stim units. Being so intense, even a little flick will be hard to go unnoticed by bystanders and stronger shocks can bring the sub easily to his knees.

Being made out of silicone, a small word on caring for the toy. Sadly, silicone by nature is an a bit sticky material thus there will always be dust on the toy, even if you clean it thoroughly. This is done easily with warm dish soap water and spray-on sanitizer after the drying. During play you have to be careful with silicone lube. The silicone oil inside it will attack the silicone, making it dull, stickier and disintegrates it. This can become a problem when you use the Viper for a carrot and stick play in combination with edging. A bit of silicone lube leaking down from the dick will not instantly destroy the toy but over time, it can become a problem. It is especially important to use a cleaning agent that will get the silicone oil off the toy. Or just use natural oils like olive oil for such scenes.

The Doxy 3R Wireless Massage Wand

Construction

The design of the 3R follows other massagers with a long, tapering shaft and a small head. Though with an overall length of 265mm and a maximum diameter of 45mm it is considerably smaller than other wands. Another nifty design feature is the bulge at the bottom for a more secure and comfortable grip. The wand is controlled through three rubber buttons for power, more or less intensity.

The case it made out of an aluminum die cast giving the massager a solid feeling. Yet at 370g it is not too heavy. Except for a silver sleeve at the top and far bottom the aluminum is colored in dark blue with luscious sparkles. The color does not look camp, it looks fancy in a good way and produces great effects under (playroom) LED lights. If you prefer a sleeker look, the 3R also comes in an all matt black version.

A 17mm shaft connects the body with the head. On top of a silver aluminum sleeve sits a silicone covered metal half-dome. This is the part which vibrates! The half-dome can be easily screwed off and replaced with accessories like a cock sleeve, prostate massager or g-spot vibrators. Because these accessories are tightly connected to the body, they won’t fall off like on standard sized massagers.

To charge the 3R you have to use a provided USB-coaxial connector lead. On a 10W USB power unit it took about 45min to fully charge the massager. Sadly you cannot use the 3R while charging. So when after about an hour of full power (and about 85min on the lowest setting) usage, you have to wait 45min until the scene can continue. So esp. for edging scenes in public playrooms, I always carry a powerbank with me.

When you get the 3R, it’s packed in a black cardboard box with a blue glossy paper sleeve. While the exterior is sleek, the inside is as fancy as the “blue flame” color of the body: The massager and the charging cable is housed in a brushed aluminum cylinder. Screw-on caps give access to the massager compartment and at the bottom to a compartment for the charging cable. Since (almost) everybody has a USB power unit now, it doesn’t come with one to reduce electronic waste.

The most often question I get asked about the 3R is “How powerful is it?” According to the package the Doxy 3R manages 9,000 RPM which is the same number as his cable bound twin Doxy No 3 and his big brother the Doxy Die Cast. Sadly, I do not have a No 3 in my collection so I could only compare it to the Die Cast. Gathering a small panel of testees and doing some simple quantitative tests, I have to admit: Yes, the Die Cast is a little bit more powerful and oscillates a little bit wider than the 3R.

But, in a blind test the testees could not tell the difference. In the long run, the testees I sent both wands to compare each other, the 3R made them cum quicker. This is due to the stimulation being more focused. Instead of distribution the vibration power over a big, chunky head, only the top tip of the 3R vibrates.

If you play with the attachments manufactured by Nexus for Doxy, the power transmission should be better since the accessory is screwed directly onto the body and thus it cannot come off during the session. If have only played with the cock sleeve, because it is probably the most often used accessory by men. It is made out of a very soft sparkling dark blue silicone which stretches easily over the dick – if it stretches. The internal diameter without texture is 38.1mm which is the minimum dick diameter to really feel the texture and the vibration. So you need an at least medium sized, better large dick, to enjoy this attachment. The attachment has two different textures: One side, there are little pyramids and bumps, on the other six lines of ridges. As fun as the different textures are – when you can feel them -, the masturbator is not really worth its money: The connecting shaft between the socket and the sleeve is almost comically thin and wobbly. So most of the kinetic energy is lost in this small shaft. I could compensate this short-coming a bit with using Oxballs cocking as reinforcements but still: In the end traditional slip-over sleeves on the Die Cast provide stronger stimulation than the 3R with the designated cock sleeve.

But this does not make the 3R the inferior toy. It is the unanimous opinion of my testees and me that compared to his big brother, the 3R is the better massager. Being smaller and considerably lighter, it is easier to hold, especially in long scenes. Being wireless, it is an easy to grab toy for spontaneous scenes in the bedroom, a nimble travel companion for camping and business trips and of course for out of playroom sessions. While dedicated BDSM clubs like Quälgeist in Berlin or the Chicago Hellfire Club’s club house have sockets close to the play areas, most “kinky” clubs like LAB in Berlin or Underground in Munich do not. So you have to rely on battery powered toys. So far, the 3R is the most powerful and longest lasting massager I have come across.

Another advantage of the small form factor (which to be honest, does also apply to the cable-fettered No 3) is allowing for new, fun stimulation on the taint, single balls, just the glans, dildos and butt plugs with a small base or – for a non-sexual purpose – more focused tense muscle relaxation and vibration-enhanced acupressure (or use the bottom for it without vibration). Since the head can be screwed off and cleaned easily, the “therapeutic” purpose in combination with lube or ointments is easier than with the big Die Cast. The head of the 3R is covered in silicone so best only used water or oil-based lubes. Silicone lube with destroy the surface over time.

In lack of better words the overall shape of the Pulse Solo Lux is like a hand axe – and for a good reason. It is the THE gensis of ALL handtools because it lies good in the hand. And so does this masturbator. It has a nicely rounded outer shell with a diameter of 67mm and the barrel shaped body tapered towards a pointy tip over the length of 106mm.

The front is made out of a sturdy polymere while the side and the back is clad in stiff yet soft to the touch silicone. The cover flows into two wings you wrap around the penis. Below the wings are three grooves and a 2.54mm diameter vibrating plate. On the left side of the body is the power button which is also used to shuffle through the programs as well as the power boost button. On the right side there are buttons to turn the power up and down. As an avid reader might know from my silicone anal toy reviews: Yes of course it attracts dust like nothing else and is something you just have to live with.

The entire toy is completely sealed to make it waterproof. This means, there are no interchangeable batteries. You charge the internal one through a magnetically attached lead you plug into an USB charger. The contacts on the Pulse Solo Lux should be cleaned well. When I charged it mid-scene a layer of cum actually was thick enough to prevent the charging. Also, lead must be perfectly aligned in order to charge. Luckily there is a little LED at the back which indicates if the toy is charging and when the process is done. The magnet is tiny so do not expect MagSafe level of connectivity or self-alignment. Even a little pull on the lead can break the connection, leaving your toy uncharged when you need it. It takes about 3h to charge the batteries completely. Depending on the mode and the intensity you get between 45 and 115 minutes of play out of one charge.

For storage especially during travel the Pulse Solo Lux comes with a satin drawstring back with cute little satin laces to close. At the risk of being called out for fragile masculinity but for a toy that calls himself “Guybrator” and wants to address stigma issues of erectile dysfunction, sex in the senior demographics, etc. I would have wished for a little bit more masculine packaging. But maybe this is just me.

A nifty add-on is the remote control. It comes in a silicone wrist band with a pin buckle. The silicon wraps so tightly around the unit that it is shielded from water and lube just like the masturbator itself. And, you have guessed it: Silicone = dust attraction.

For me and my testees the Pulse Solo Lux was a game changer how we looked and experienced self-induced orgasms. I had a lot of strong, literally mind blowing orgasms in my life. The first one with this toy is definitely top 5 and yet very hard to describe. But the real intense ride begins when you find your sweet spot which might not necessarily be directly onto the frenulum. The first mode is merciless. Regardless if you are hard or not, the Pulse Solo WILL make you come quickly and hard. This even applies to people with erectile dysfunction or who have a hard time climaxing. Everybody in my testee panel, even the ones with medical problems were brought to an orgasm – quickly and lustful. The other programs’ effects are again highly individual. They are useful for pushing the orgasm back, enjoying the strong build-up. But some patterns for some guys were so “irritating” that they did not come at all which might be a feat when they are not in control of the device. Again, experimentation is king.

The same applies if you want to use it with lube. I absolutely hated it because my dick flopped around between the wings and the moving up and down motion of the shaft was not really my cup of tea. The buttons on the device are so hard to press because of the waterproofness. This is a great feature because you can enjoy tension building up between your legs while relaxing inside the bathtub. But relevant to probably more people is how easy it makes cleaning the device. Submerge it in warm dish soap water, let the dried cum soak (a testee’s experience… don’t ask!), use a soft brush and you are ready to go again!
