I have rarely seen a toy creating so much buzz and selling out so quickly almost everywhere like the Oxballs Finger Fuck. So when Uberkinky asked me if I would like to review one for them I was quite excited.

Construction

The Oxballs Finger Fuck is a glove with approx. the European male glove size 7 and comes in black, red, blue and transparent. Being made out of Oxballs super-stretchy FLEX-TPR Oxballs Finger Fuck will fit almost every hand size; people with glove size 6 up to glove size 13 used the toy during the testing process. In order not to damage the toy please put it on careful and don’t force it too vigerously on your hand. Better pour some lube into the glove and swirl it around and adjust each finger separately for a snug fit. Another big advantage of the FLEX-TPR is that is it safe to be used with any kind of lube. Though for putting it one I recommend silicone lube because it is very viscose and won’t become sticky over time.

What sets this toy apart from other fisting gloves is the texture. While the palm area is covered with a shallow bubble pattern each finger is covered with a different pattern. The lower half of the thumb features lower profile bubbles like the palm, the upper half is shapes a big like a honey spoons with ridges running around a barrel which has a maximum diameter of 33mm. The forefinger features stronger raised bubbles. The top middle finger is shaped like a small dildo with a maximum diameter of 27mm on which’s top the glans is slightly coming out from under the foreskin. Around the ring finger a double helix runs. And the little finger’s texture looks like tire tread.

Playing with the Toy

Primarily the Oxballs Finger Fuck is a toy for anal play. The different patterns will stimulate the nerve endings of the sphincter in very different ways. When you have two Finger Fucks fucking the ass with two different fingers alternating will drive most subs over the edge. What is a bit difficult is using the ring and little finger individually because with most people the muscles of these fingers are too weak to fight against the draft of the stretchy material. The relatively small size (ultimately depending on the finger size of the wearer) makes it great even for beginners and experienced fistees enjoyed the teasing of the loose hole.

Speaking of fisting: Here the Oxballs Finger Fuck really shines. The material thickness makes the fister’s hand bigger yet especially for experienced bottoms this is part of the thrill. Besides anal play this toy is great for any form of sensation play. Gently running the different patterns across the sub’s skin can create quite interesting reactions. On the more CBT side of sensation play teasing the frenulum or the bare glans can drive a sub crazy, especially when he is uncut. Some testees liked the feeling so much they bought the toys and use it for jerking off. Because the Finger Fuck’s material is a bit sticky I recommend using silicone lube when engaging in such play.

Once used you simply can clean it with hot water and dish soap and spray sanitizer on it. I recommend drying it upright put loosely on top of a plastic bottle so the inside can also dry. While technically only disposable gloves are fulfilling safer sex standards when it comes to fisting, like cock sheath I can’t really see how any disease transmission can happen when the Finger Fuck has been thoroughly cleaned between being used on different partners.

The All Black Bernhard starts out with a conical tip. The top is 22mm wide and almost dull and expends up to 55mm over a length of 55mm. The shaft is textured with ribs of different width of heights leading to a diameter which increases from 44mm just below the tip to 59mm at the bottom. The last 4cm of is has no texture but is a little bit convex so it can work as a grip if you don’t have too lubey fingers.

The overall length of the dildo is 27cm. Since there is no base be a bit cautious when playing enthusiastically with it. It nearly disappeared in one of the testee’s rectum.

Playing with it

Ok, I have to admit, I lied a bit in the intro text. This toy is not really for the novice but for the little bit experienced. The dull tip makes it a bit hard to seduce an untrained sphincter to open up. But when you can take toys with a diameter up to 40mm you should be fine. The gradually increasing diameter of the “glans” is good to train the sphincter up to taking 55mm. Slowly (!!!) riding the shaft will accustom the sphincter to closing and opening up again. Taking time, relaxing, feeling the effect of the subtle ribs is a good training for relaxing the sphincter purposely. This skill is important when later switching to larger toys or even fists. But don’t get carried away by the awesome feeling too much and ride the toy more and more vigorously because with an untrained ass which is stretched to the max. this can lead to injuries.

Speaking of fisting: What is a danger for the novice hole is really hot for the well-experienced one. At the end of a fisting scene when the sphincter is really relaxed you can pick up this toy and work the ass over with it HARD. The ribs will stimulate the nerve endings for a unique experience. Be advised that the physical and stimulation stress can wear the bottom out fairly quickly so I recommend using this toy when the scene is almost over or in short intervals so the fistee begs for a relaxing fist as a break from an overwhelming stimulation.

Most people don’t have a playroom. So creating an environment where you can live out your kinks inside a vanilla house can be a challenge. Especially when it comes to messier kinks where large quantities of lube or piss finding creating good and comfortable area to play while being sure you don’t ruin the furniture can be a challenge. Living in a dorm I can very much relate to these problems especially when it comes to fisting. Play sheets were not really a solution for me because when playing hard they shift and cleaning and drying them was always a challenge. So I was very happy when Sheets of San Francisco send me a set of their fitted play sheets to give them a real life test.

The sheets are made out of polyurethane which is woven 2-ply. This leads to a dense and sturdy surface with a characteristic stripe pattern. The feel of the material is best described as high quality cotton sheets meeting chlorinated rubber. Unlike rubber they don’t have a high heat transfer coefficient so you can actually snuggle and roll around in them without having to face a cold surface once you shift a bit.

What in my opinion are more important than the feel are the material properties: The sheets are absolute waterproof. It doesn’t matter if it is lube, piss, sweat or other liquids, the will stay on top of the sheet and won’t sink in. You can find these properties on other play sheet material like vinyl or rubber but further more Sheets of San Francisco also does not take up smells easily and does not tear easily when being exposed to a little (!!!) pressure of sharp objects. The material is also surprisingly resistant to the heat of dripping wax. After a wax play scene you can simply peel off the wax.

What really sets Sheets of San Francisco apart from other play sheets are that they are fitted. This means they come with pockets you wrap around the mattress. So even when playing hard and heavily the sheet stays in place when the size roughly fits the mattress. All sheets are designed for a standard mattress height (around 20cm) and come in a lot of standard US, UK and EU sizes. The material stretches a bit and also the pockets are large enough to hold onto even a bit smaller beds. If your bed or padded play area does not fit any standard sizes there is always the option of getting a custom fit for a £30 premium. And with prices between £36 for a pillow case over £129 to £139 for a fitted sheet up to £199 for a duvet cover they are not really that much more expensive than other, not fitted play sheets.

The Sheets of San Francisco line also features pillow cases (I stuffed mine with hard pillows to lift and support the ass when lying on the back during a fisting scene) and a duvet cover. A friend of mine who is an ABDL bought the entire set to sleep comfortable yet without fear of soiling his mattress or duvet if his diaper should start leaking. Finally there is also a throw sheet to cover “complex” objects like sofas or to put under your sling.

Cleaning the sheets is very easy: Simply throw them in the washing machine on 40°C and don’t spin-dry them too much. Since the material is hydrophobic it will dry quickly. A downside of the waterproof material is that sometimes water gets trapped in the “pockets” of the fitting. So be a bit careful when you take it out of the machine. If you played with a lot of JLube, I recommend putting a spoon of salt into the machine. Also, powder detergent sometimes leaves residues. For me dish soap worked the best but since it foams more than detergent I recommend not using more than a spoon again. If you are living in a dorm and washing machines or space for letting the sheet dry is an issue, wipe up the lube or whatever is on the sheet using paper towels, mix a solution out of salt and dish soap, spray it on the stains, wipe the liquid up again with paper towels and let it dry on the bed. It usually takes less than half an hour and you can store away the clean and dry sheet.

I was actually so happy with the mattress and pillow cover that I might extend my set with a duvet cover or two and also buy a loose sheet for my soon to put up sling or wax play.

Construction

Both restraints are made in a cuff style: There is a piece of padding which goes around the joint which is fettered with a strap. The padding is a thick and soft piece of foam lined with soft leather. Onto the outside of the padding a piece of bridle leather which is a bid narrower than the padding. So even when the sub struggles heavily there is padding over the leather’s hard edges. The bridle leather piece is also only approx 4/5 as long as the padding leaving a part of it free the fold down for a secure fit even if the sub really has small wrists or ankles. Through the padding and onto the bridle leather piece the bridle leather belt is riveted. Four rivets hold the two D-rings, the locking posts and the roller buckle in place.

The belt on these restraints are long enough with holes punched close enough to the rivet that they can accommodate small to really large wrists and ankles. When you are on the larger end of the circumference spectrum there will be a space without padding which did not bother all testees.

When I first got the restraints I was a bit puzzled by a rather large “wave” on the belt between the central rivets. It turns out that once you put the restraint onto a sub the padding follows the curvature of the wave so the belt does not get stretched! This attention to detail shows on the entire toy: The stitching is flawless, the D-rings are welded, the leather smells and feels like good, sustainably tanned leather is supposed to. In terms of customizing you just recently got the choice of black and white for the strap and a choice of 8 different colors for the padding to match your fetish gear.

Finally, a word on the Mr S restraints. The restraints I am reviewing are the ones from Fetters but I have played with the Mr S ones several dozen times in the USA. So I can assure you that in terms of quality and functionality they are no different than the ones from Fetters. The only difference is that you can “only” choose between black, grey, red and blue lining for the padding and that the straps are only available in black.

So a bit like with the ErosTek power boxes: When you are living in Europe, go for the ones from Regulation, when you living in the USA go for the ones from Mr S.

What sets these restraints apart from others is really the padding. It is so lavish, lush and soft that once broken in and fettered in a secure position there is no feeling of being restrained at all. It is only when the sub starts to struggle that the he feels that behind the pillowy veneer is a merciless, heavy duty restraint keeping them in place even when he fights hard! For that reason I like these restraints a lot for heavy scenes with a very active sub because the fragile joints are well protected by the thick padding. Because they are not that noticeable these restraints are great for subs who want to know they are fettered but are not comfortable (yet) with the tight feeling of a restraint around the joints. Being so comfortable I had several testees using them while sleeping. Since the initial bondage feeling is not quite there I recommend locking the belts slowly one after another so that the sub can hear the clicking sound and realizes that without the key they are not coming off.

Once it comes to tying someone down these restraints are made for complex bondage layouts. With two D-rings with a width of 37mm per restraints there are enough attachment points for elaborate bondage setups.

There are matching collars available: A padded one from Fetters and a non-padded one from Mr S which I will be reviewing in a couple of weeks.

Conclusion: Restraints comfortable enough to be worn 24/7 yet strict enough to power out even an extremely fighting sub.

Some toy makers quickly establish a reputation that is almost iconic. This is the case with Bad Dragon. Founded in 2008 only within 8 years they have become one of the most esteemed makers of anal toys. What sets them apart from other manufacturers is that they take the inspiration for their shape from anthropomorphic fantasy creatures.

Their unique design and praise online lead to many questions regarding the toys. So I was very happy when Bad Dragon sent me the three dildos for a thorough test which I got the most questions about: Apollo the Chimera, David the Werewolf and Vergil the Drippy Dragon. Since my testee panel and I are more on the fistee side of the experience curve the first and the third toy are size XL while David the Werewolf is an L.

Material

All Bad Dragon anal toys are made out of high quality Platinum silicone. The term platinum refers to the catalyst used to make the material. Platinum silicone can withstand acid and heat better than other catalysts like tin for example yet is soft enough to be cast into anal toys. Bad Dragon cast the toys in various firmnesses. To find out which firmness is right for you, you can order a sample set. Soft toys are good for not yet well trained asses or really large toys because the sphincter can deform the toy a bit to fit well; because of that Bad Dragon only makes their XL toys up to medium firmness. However the softer the material the less stability a toy has so especially with long toys there is a chance they will collapse with the soft material. Also keep in mind: The thicker a toy the harder it will feel. Since silicone is by default a softer material even the hard firmness is way softer than hard vinyl or even metal. Another material property of silicone is that compared to other materials you can more easily add color. Bad Dragon really takes advantage of this property and offers the widest range in colors and patterns in anal toys I know off!

Silicone toys are great if you use them with multiple partners. Even on a microscopic level it is super smooth so bacteria have a hard time to establish themselves. The smoothness and heat resistance also benefits cleaning because you can easily wash the toy with hot soapy water and spray it with a sanitizer afterwards. If you want to be really sure you can actually autoclave the toy.

When it comes to lube silicone is a bit special. ONLY use water- or oil-based lubes! The silicone oil in silicone or hybrid lubes will disintegrate the toy!

Shape

Currently Bad Dragon offers different 52 shapes all inspired by fantasy creatures. Most of the toys have a size range from small (close to the size of a normal dick) to XL (for the experienced fistee) so almost everybody can enjoy the shape matching his width experience level. One thing to keep in mind when choosing the size is the ration between maximum diameter and length. Unlike most other anal toys at Bad Dragon the maximum diameter in the lower third of the shaft. So even though you theoretically might be able to take the diameter if you are not trained for depth you might never reach it. So carefully asses your training level and maybe choose an intermediary toy for training.

Another thing to keep in mind when selecting the toys it the surface structure. Being anthropomorphic the shaft has more texture than other dildos. This can range from subtle veins (like on Vergil the Drippy Dragon) over thick ridges (like on David the Werewolf) to deep and complex patterns (like on Apollo the Chimera). The more texture there is the harder it will be to take the toy because there is more “stress” on the sphincter. But on the other side: The sphincter is one of the  body areas with the most nerve endings so the more texture there is the more the nerves will get stimulated. And for some people there is also an erotic pleasure to be found struggling a bit against the sphincter with “squarerish” toy (just don’t struggle to hard otherwise serious injurious can result!).

You can customize most Bad Dragon toys with different features. The most useful feature I found is the split firmness between shaft and base when choosing another firmness but hard. The hard base gives the toy more stability especially when riding it. Silicone as a material is a bit sticky so on must dry smooth surfaces a hard base in strong enough to keep the toy in place. If you really want to get a go on your toy or play in wet areas (for example your shower) most toys can be equipped with a suction cup. Another interesting feature I know only from friends’ toys is the cumtube. Bad Dragon will cast a silicone tube in the middle of the new toy. Cumtube equipped toys come with a syringe which you can fill with their (or other manufacturers) water-based (!!!) cum lube that you can shoot out of the tube into your ass. This cumtube provoked a bit of controversy in my test panel. There were guys who loved the feeling of a liquid being splashed into their ass and went on to order actually order a Bad Dragon dildo with a cumtube. On the other hand there were guys like me who didn’t feel that much or weren’t too impressed by the sensation and were more thinking about the practical aspect because a cumtube will make cleaning the toy a bit more difficult.

Playing with the Toys

Out of the three this is probably the toy which comes closest to a “traditional” dildo. The long, steep glans-like tip is ideal for slowly opening up the sphincter. Once opened up the rather smooth and “simple” shaft does not irritate the sphincter too much when fucking the hole. The knot again gradually becomes bigger so with a little depth training taking the entire toy won’t be a challenge. Getting fucked with the entire length is an interesting sensation because it combines the friction sensation of a dildo on the shaft with the stretching sensation of a plug when you take the knot.

David the Werewolf Size XL

Theoretically the sensation is the same as with Vergil the Drippy Dragon. However this toy is more for the experienced play. The glans is a bit blunter and has a more complex shape so it is a little bit harder to take it. With the overall thicker ridges getting fucked with this dildo will be more stimulating (or challenging). Last but not least the ratio between the glans diameter and the knot is bigger so the knot is a bigger (and again probably more lustful) challenge.

Since this toy due to being XL is rather long and heavy most testees enjoyed this toy most in the middle of a fisting scene when their hole was already loose. Just lying back and relaxing proved best to take this big toy. Also navigating the length inside a hole was easier with a top in command who could use two hands. Of cause, if you have very well trained thighs and a greedy ass riding this toy is also possible and much fun.

Apollo the Chimera Size XL

The Apollo is unlike the other two toys. Due to the ratio of length and diameter and the fact that there is only a short “resting” section between the glans and the knot I would rather consider it a plug than a dildo. It is the most textured toy of the three which makes taking it a bit more difficult but you are rewarded with a great simulation of your sphincter. Especially the scale pattern on the outside of plug is awesome when riding it.

Speaking of riding it: The overall toy is convex shaped so it follows the way most colons bend which makes riding it easy. Of cause you need a trained hole to take such diameter yet the stretching sensation when taking the second bump is very hot. A friend actually coined the term “knotting the dragon” for it.

This Ballistic Metal paddle arrived just in time as a review sample from Uberkinky to be taken with me to Folsom Europe. Being a little bit like the Duracell Bunny on play at such events I was lucky to get enough play experience with it to write the review rather quickly because there were quite a lot reader questions for painful Spanking and Caning toys recently.

Construction

The grip of this toy is made out of two tapered brushed aluminum plates. The shape makes for a secure comfortable grip while the material is light enough not to tire the wrist yet heavy enough for a good balance and counter weight when paddling. Two screws are keeping both plates together. Between those two the impact material is fettered. It is made out of 5mm thick flexible black rubber like material with hard edges. One side is somewhat smooth like very fine sand paper while the other side has a chevron texture with 1mm deep grooves. The viper’s “tongue” is triangular starting width of 4.5cm and converging to a tip over a length of 27cm. Like snake’s tongue it is split in the middle.

Sadly like the other Ballistic Metal toys I own there is no way a loop could be attached securely so you have to store the toy lying.

Playing with the Toy

This toy is not for the faint of heart! With a light tapping the sensation is not too intense yet an experience player will get to notion what this toy has in store. Put a little more force into it and you will quickly produce some intense sting sensation. Unlike other Spanking and Caning implements the Ballistic Metal Viper Paddle can create serious pain with little force. Most pain pigs I have used this paddle on could not stand a full set of full blows. This is due to the split tongue which dramatically reduces air resistance. Due to these properties this toy is not made for warm-up.

With that being said the paddle is extremely good for intense pain scenes or mind fuck. Once a sub is accustomed to this toy just let the rough chevron side travel lightly over the body and he will tense up with anticipation. The two sides also come in handy when you want to increase the intensity of a scene quickly. I drove a sub close to the edge with the smooth side and when he asked for more finished him up with the rough side. The abrasive friction of it adds a new quality and intensity to the sting. An even sharper sting can be created when you just flick the tips against the body. I have used the Ballistic Metal Viper Paddle in flogging scenes to add intense sting or in tit torture sessions for excruciating reactions. Due to the sharpness of the material I would not recommend hitting body areas with thin skin like the glans. From a more sensual point of view run the smooth cool grip over the hot and reddened body areas in the cool down periods.

Speaking of reddening: The Ballistic Metal Viper Paddle colors fairly quickly. Especially the rough side will leave some quickly fainting chevron marks if you really put some power into the blow. Despite the hard edges and abrasive surface even in intense scenes this toy has not drawn blood or caused bruises.

Being made out of synthetic materials cleaning this toy is very easy. Simply spray it with sanitizer and wipe it off. Due to the tongue being made out of rubber I would recommend keeping it away from oil and fat. Finally a piece of practical advice: The kinetic energy from the tongue’s impact naturally get transferred into the grip and thus onto the screws which can get loose. So after an intense scene check them and if necessary retighten them.

Conclusion: Vicious impact toy for serious pain pigs.

The ErosTek ET302R E-Stim Power Box along with the Remote Control

Construction

This power box is quite small measuring only 96mm x 61mm x 26mm. It is made out of sturdy black plastic which has an abrasive surface but on the top for better grip. On top the program numbers with the corresponding names are printed with fluorescent ink so after letting the device sit in light a bit you can read which program is which number even in the dark. On the bottom there is the battery compartment for 9V block batteries. All important functions are found at the front of the box. There are the two 3.5mm jackets with channel A on the far left and channel b on the far right. Left from the middle is a double digit nine-segment display with red LEDs, right from it is mono microphone and the power button.

This power box is controlled using a small remote control which measures 72mm x 34mm x 14mm. It features a small carabineer on the lower left corner so you can attach it to a lanyard. In order to exchange the battery you have to unscrew the bottom of the remote control. On the top there are four buttons numbered 0 to 3. Under each button it says what the button does resp. what holding button 0 or 1 down and pressing 2 and 3 will do. On the far right side of the remote there is another red LED which flashed when you press a button.

The box comes with a detailed instruction book and two 3.5mm to 4mm banana plug leads.

Playing with the Toy

As with all E-Stim boxes the sensation experience by the sub depends on a number of factors like which electrode is used where on the body. So the description of the individual programs can only be a rough one.

Rhythm 3 On-off stimulation with one channel being strong and the other being softer. The stronger channel will increase in intensity to a peak and will start over.
Random 4 Random stimulation in pattern and intensity. Sometimes a channel gets switched off for a period of time to let the nerve endings recover.
Audio Soft 5 Even soft noises get transformned into stimulation on both channels. Best used in a quite environment otherwise the stimulation is continuous.
Audio Loud 6 Quieter noises are ignored and only louder ones produce stimulation on both channels.
Training Levels 1 – 3 7 First select the intended intensity in the Basic program. If you press button 1 a short burst of this intensity is fired. With button 2 a longer, more intense burst is fired. With button 3 an even longer, more intense burst is fired. If you keep button 3 pressed the intensity will grow stronger every second the button is pressed!
Training Ramps 1 – 3 8 First select the maximum intensity in the Basic program. When pressing buttons 1 to 3 the intensity slowly builds up until the selected intensity while 1 is the slowest and 3 is the quickest build up.
Training Signals 1 – 3 9 First select the intended intensity in the Basic program. Each button from 1 to 3 create unique pattern in roughly the selected intensity.

With this box you can only select a program for both channels. There is no way to select a different program for channel A and channel B. When playing for extended periods of time the box will shut down if it hasn’t received a command in 30 minutes resp. 120 minutes if in one of the training modes (number 7 to 9). So especially in long term scenes regularly increase the stimulation a bit. This is also good general advice because the nerves adjust to the stimulation so a constant stimulation level is felt less intense over time.

When I first got this box I have to admit the way of controlling it scared me a bit with double and triple function keys. Being more of a bottom who in a nutshell has to explain a potential top how the device works I was a bit discouraged. However As already written the control layout is printed on the remote control and after having used the box four times I knew intuitively which button to press for what. The red LED display works great in all environments with when starting telling the battery level and the corresponding left or right bottom LED flashing when a channel is firing.

This box is even smaller than the ET232 I reviewed last year so it is even better for travelling. The drawback is that you can’t manipulate the programs so you are basically stuck with the stimulation that comes out of the box (don’t get me wrong! The stimulation the box delivers is awesome!). But what this box lacks in adjustability it wins in flexibility being remote controlled. On an open field the range of the remote control is approx. 30m, inside a building depending on the number and material of walls up to 15m.
Having the controls detached from the box creates a big mindfuck. The sub never knows when the stimulation will kick in and in what intensity. So many scenarios are possible: From the sub laying bound alone in the playroom to going shopping when suddenly the e-stim kicks in and the sub has to get a hold of himself. The latter scenario works especially well with the training programs. I know numerous masters who trained their slaves to perform different tasks depending on which signal is fired. Complete remote control though takes a bit of mental effort at the side of the top who needs to know in which program he was on which level in order to operate the box without the display. Yet again, with a bit of training this works really well.
Especially when visiting big events or play parties I highly recommend changing the channel on the box (How to do this is very well described in the manual). Most people don’t bother to do so and I have heard of cheeky people walking around at big events like IML with their remote set to the standard and pressing buttons hoping a box in a training mode on their frequency is waiting for a command…

The fact sheet says that the ET320R has 60 micro coulombs per pulse versus the ET312b which has 80 micro coulombs per pulse. Of cause when it comes to stimulation more is always better but the small box is definitely powerful enough to make you cum, scream or beg for more.  Speaking of fact sheets: I have talked to people who have owned their boxes for nearly a decade and being an electronic device it will sooner or later have some issues. They have ensured me that with a little technical knowledge and talent this box is easy to repair; the manufacturer ErosTek has recently launched a spare part section on their website to it can now be repaired with original parts. However: I have to strongly urge you to only let a true electrical engineering expert repair this box because malfunctions can cause serious harm or at best unintended and unwanted unpleasant stimulation!

Finally a word of warning for people wanting to order it inside the EU: All Erostek devices I have seen so far are lacking the CE marking which is a requirement for a device being sold in the EU. Several friends of mine had their Erostek device being confiscated by custom officers in several different countries when ordered directly from the USA. Best and safest way to get an Erostek device into the EU is either ordering it through Regulation in London or purchase it when visiting a country outside the EU and bring it with you personally (even though theoretically it can be confiscated by custom at the air port).

Sinvention Padded Muzzle and Collar

With the puppy community still growing and more kinkster discovering their interest in this form of play, the number about questions which gear to buy to live out this specific form of play are quite high. So I was very happy when Sinvention sent me this iconic muzzle as a review sample to answer at least some of these questions.

Construction

The central part of this toy is the heavily padded mouth piece which is lined with soft leather. It covers the chin and the lower half of the face with a little recess for the nose. Onto this mouth piece various straps out of thick and sturdy bridle leather are attached. One runs along the jaw line, a second one runs from the corner of the mouth piece just over the ears to the back of the head and the last one runs y-shaped around the nose to the temple. In front of the forehead another strap runs around the head. All four straps are fettered onto a large piece of bridle leather lined with garment leather that covers the back of the head using locking roller buckles. On top of this leather piece you find a D-ring. From the bottom of the mouth piece runs a short leather belt to a collar which is made out of bridle leather lined with soft garment leather. It is closed again with a locking roller buckle and features three D-rings in front of the collar. The collar can’t be detached so in order to put the muzzle on your sub you eventually have to uncollar him briefly.

The muzzle is available in all black or medical which means tan-colored straps and white lining.

Sinvention is also always open for customizations. So for example you can get the forehead piece padded or add a D-ring at the back of the  collar.

Playing with the Toy

The bad news first: This is no toy for extensive out of the box play. The high quality Canadian bridle leather out of which the belts are made is stiff! It takes very long to be broken in and fit comfortable. Even after being broken in properly some testees found the pressure on the forehead uncomfortable. I addressed the issue with a cotton pad I usually use for poppers play.

After I got the bad stuff out of the way, let me tell you how awesome this piece of headgear is! In the intro text I described it the Sinvention Muzzle as “iconic” and this is a true attribute. I am not sure if Sinvention were the first ones to come out with this specific head gear design which is available in countless low quality and more uncomfortable varieties. But when you look around Tumblr this is probably (one of) the most often used muzzle by kinksters. So why is that the case?

First of all: Once it is broken in, it is very comfortable. You can wear it over extended periods of time even being worn over a hood. The leather straps really adjust to the shape of the wearer’s head. That being said, you can put the muzzle on different subs. But it will feel best if a sub buys the muzzle and is the only one wearing it so the straps can really take on his head shape. In exchange for the long breaking in period you get a really heavy duty piece of head gear. Even with a heavily struggling sub the belts will not tear. With four D-rings you can strap the sub into many different, creative bondage layouts. Because there is a D-ring on top of the muzzle it is even designed to safely tie down the head: Just tie the top D-ring lower and tighter than the ones on the neck so that the sub can’t choke himself when he is trying to get up. The top D-ring comes in also handy for stress bondage, for example when connecting it to an anal hook to force the head back. A quite puppy like stress bondage position is connecting mitts or wrist restraints with the collar D-rings so you create a position like with these rubber bondage suits. Since in this position the entire weight of the sub’s torso rests on the elbows, I recommend padding them well! The only place where I missed a D-ring – especially when you are going for awalk holding your puppy on a leash – was on the back of the collar. But the leather flap which holds the buckle in place is large enough to house a shackle.

Speaking of belts and buckles: The belts are long enough with the holes going closely enough to the rivets that the muzzle is very adjustable so it fits every size and shape of head. Since all buckles are locking, the mindfuck of hearing and feeling up to eight locks closing around the head is quite strong, adding to the intense bondage experience.

Depending on how strongly you tighten the belts the muzzle will more or less reduce all communication to a mumbling. Despite the padding don’t expect your sub to be totally quite. But especially after the breaking in the mouth piece if flexible enough to fetter the jaw while a gag is placed in the mouth.

You can speed up the breaking in process by using leather oil on the belts. This is also the best product to care for the muzzle. This kind of oil is also available with black color if over time the color of the belt should rub off. Especially when you often use the muzzle in combination with a ball gag which will cause your sub to drool a lot, I recommend cleaning the inside of the mouth piece with saddle soap on a regular basis.

Material

This dildo is made out of phthalate-free vinyl and comes in either black or clear. It is made in Belgium so it has to stick to the strict EU regulations regarding product safety so it is safe to use without a condom (as long as it is only used by one person, see below). Since like all vinyl toys it has to use some form of more or less volatile plasticizer, store the toy in a well ventilated area where it does not touch other toys so they don’t damage each other. Straight out of the wrapping it does not smell bad, just when you get your nose close to the toy you will recognize the usual vinyl smell. Firmness wise it is on the softer side of vinyl toys yet it stands up straight when resting on the base.

Being made out of vinyl you can use any lube with it, e.g. water- or silicone-based ones, hybrid lube or fat like Crisco. Cleaning the toy is easy: I soak my toys for half an hour in water that is so hot that I can just touch it and add dish soap. Any hotter water will damage the vinyl. After that I let it dry and spray a sanitizer on it. This procedure should kill most germs but compare to other materials vinyl has a porous surface. So if you want to be a 100% safe when using this toy with other people, put a condom over it.

Shape

The basic for of this toy is the one of a traditional dildo with balls forming the base. The inside of the base is a bit dome-shaped so due the softness of the material, it works like a strong suction cup on smooth surfaces. The balls are large enough to comfortable hold the dildo especially when a second person is using it on the bottom.

The dildo’s top is glans-shaped with a diameter of approx. 45mm. After a small recess the shaft starts out with a diameter of approx. 45mm and increases in size up to 57mm. The length of the shaft including the glans is 235mm. All over the shaft there are approx. 6mm high round bumps.

Playing with it

This toy is definitely not for the anal novice. The glans is rather dull so you need to be either experienced or somewhat pre-stretched to easily take it.  While the shaft it not too big the bumps make taking it a bit of a challenge if you are not fistable.
