If you are looking for a realistic dildo, one of my favorite toys of all of 2019 was the SquarePeg Mel because of the many different ridges around the shaft. Construction

These are the first explicit depth toys in this Anal Toy Special, so naturally the Thick Worm and the Thick Stamen are on the longer side of toy design. Both have a usable length of 350mm. This enough to stimulate the second hole and penetrate it, yet with a little bit of practice both toys can be taken completely without much challenge. These are the only similarities the two toys have.

The Thick Worm starts out with a triangular head which makes pushing it in quite easy. The head is 55mm tall and smooth and tapers from 25mm to 42mm.

Below the head there is a 3mm drop. Over the length of 19mm the diameter increases again until there is another 3mm drop. These “scales” are very lightly textured with very shallow vertical grooves. With each scale the edge length of the triangular toy body increases a bit, slightly increasing the diameter up to 65mm at the last scale. The toy then flows into an oval base. The base can be equipped with two extra features: Either a suction cup which a friend who has one on his Thick Worm says is too weak to hold such a long and heavy toy or the SquarePegHole. This hole is a universal adaptor for the various fuck machine adapter standards. There is also a market out there for stand-alone accessories like suction cups or handles. So in my opinion you are better off and more versatile with the SquarePegHole.

The Stick Stamen on the other hand starts out with a round, long head that tapers over 72mm from 30mm to 56mm. After the maximum stretch, there is a smooth decrease in diameter by 5mm after which then to starts to expand again. This repeats 4 times until at the last of the 5 cones the maximum diameter reaches 71mm. Between this cone and the quadratic base is 52mm thick neck for resting when you have taken the entire toy.

As the name of both toys already implies, there are shorter and thinner versions of both toys available.

As in this review of heavy depth toys, I am surprised that SquarePeg offer these toys not only in their signature Supersoft Bronze which I have bought and the Supersoft Graphite but also in Firm Black. From the sensation side I can understand why they offer these toys in Firm Black because especially on a loose hole, they will feel more intense. But since firmness also compromises bendiness, I am not sure if these toys could work in that material (though, as an texture junkie, I am very intrigued to find out!). If you have any of those two toys in Firm Black, please let me know how they feel and work.

All three color options are made out of Platinum Silicone. Unlike other silicone types which are cured with lead for example, it is 100% body-safe, hypo-allergenic and easy to clean. Simply soak in warm dish-soap water, use the dishwasher or autoclave them after washing off the lube. For extra care, sanitize them to be 100% sure.

Like all silicone toys, these two should never be used with silicone lube since the silicone oil in the lube harms the surface and can destroy the toy. Water- and oil-based lubes are safe to use with both toys. Since different plasticizers can also destroy the silicone, they should be stored together with vinyl or rubber toys. If they have to be stored together, the place should be well ventilated and the different materials should not touch.

Playing with the Thick Worm & Thick Stamen

Being relatively thick right from the top and not too long, both toys – unlike other depth toys – are easy to handle. With light pressure the tip pops in and then keeps the toy upright when riding it. The body does not bend too much under pressure so it is a good toy for selfplay when you start to explore depth – sadly unlike the Slinks which are way harder to get in and control when you are inexperienced. Despite both shafts being bendy, they are rigid enough to be navigated, find their way inside the hole and go deep, again unlike the Slinks which tend to curl up inside the rectum when you are inexperienced.

Sensation-wise both toys are quite different and it is hard to tell which of the two the “softer” one is. The Thick Worm’s vertical grooves help to catch the lube, making it a toy for a bit longer ride. The subtle drop after each scale intensifies the friction sensation all ass toys create inside the sphincter during fucking. This makes the Thick Worm’s sensation a controllable simply through the speed it goes in and out of the hole. The triangular shape creates an unusual and surprising sensation when turned inside the hole and especially the second sphincter. Some of my testees and me found that the triangular head made it a bit easier for the toy to navigate inside the rectum and penetrate the second sphincter because there is a sense of direction.

With the Thick Stamen however the sensation is quite different. Through the chain of cones, the stretch sensation is very prominent, especially at the second sphincter. Riding or fucking with the Tick Stamen is a serious of “pop” sensations which’s intensity can be controlled by the speed. Since there is not drop like on the Thick Worm but a steep yet soft slope, in slow motion the sphincter can gradually adjust to the change in diameter. Due to the neck, the Thick Stamen can be worn while moving around. It is an interesting sensation when the cones move inside the rectum and colon, massaging both sphincters. But the quadratic base, does not really fit well between the cheeks. One testee uses a rope harness to keep both toys in place because the Thick Worm’s body flows directly into an oval base which kind of fit between the ass cheeks despite being wide.

Sometimes new products overshadow a classic: I did a little survey among the people asking me about SquarePeg toys which they considered the oldest and most iconic design of the manufacturer. Most answered the Egg, a large portion the Acorn and very few only the Happy Hour – despite this plug being incepted into the collection a year before the popular Egg Plug. This lag of attention is a shame because this delicate plug could push the buttons many of you desire to have manipulated. So let’s drag this hidden star into the limelight a bit.

Construction

The Happy Hour Plug starts out with a domed, elongated head that tapers slightly at the bottom. At the back the runs a thin ridge towards the maximum stretch. This maximum stretch tapers cone-shaped after a small neck below the head. The cone is oval, being wider in the dimension parallel to the foot. This width is a bit undercut by a wide and deep v-shaped groove connecting the end of the ridge with the neck.  The maximum stretch tapers equally smoothly towards the neck which is also oval. Below the neck is a thick, oval base which was inspired by the Acorn so it fits comfortably between the cheeks. But it is also sturdy enough for a good grip of not too lubey hands if you want to fuck your bottom’s hole with it.

The Happy Hour comes in a plethora of sizes, but not every size comes in every color/ firmness. This is actually one of my personal points of criticism: The Medium or Large (which might be a bit too long) size in Firm Black would be my perfect version of the toy. But since SquarePeg considers this combo too extreme, they sadly do not offer it. For this review I was sent the Monster size and the new XL which in my opinion was a much needed addition to the range. The gap between the Large and the Monster was simply too big!

When looking at the following table, please keep in mind that all SquarePeg toys are individually handmade so the sizes can vary a bit (as I had to experience myself when I bought my large Acorn in Firm Black and I turned out 3mm smaller than the one in Supersoft Bronze…).

Being a SquarePeg toy, you already know the drill: Every Happy Hour Plug is made out of pure body-safe, easy to clean Platinum Silicone. Perfect if you have allergies or need a toy for an orgy which can easily and quickly cleaned. Either throw them in the dishwasher, autoclave them, use bleach or dish soap. Like all anal toys, store them in a ventilated place without touching other toys and without pressure. Otherwise different plasticizers can damage them or the pressure can create creases. To keep the silicone in best shape and not risk tarnishing the surface, do not use silicone lube with the Happy Hour. They are safe with every other kind of lube like oil- or water-based ones.

Before getting my hands or rather my hole onto the Happy Hour, I always considered the Acorn the most intense of the SquarePeg plugs (Splitter) but the Happy Hour is a close contender! The head usually pops in easily if you chose the right size. If you buy the Happy Hour for width training, the “dull” dome tip can already be a little challenge, so I recommend a bit of pre-stretching with an Egg. With the head in, you can twist and turn the toy for the ridge to massage the anus and stimulate the prostate. Pushing in further, the challenge starts. Yes, the taper to the maximum stretch is comfortable and the oval shape follows the ergonomics of the sphincter. But, depending on the bottom’s anatomy, two things can happen. Either, the deeper you go (especially on the larger size), the chances of the head knocking the second sphincter increase, forcing the bottom to concentrate relax when both holes are stimulated. If the second sphincter is not directly in the way, the head will bend pressed against the intestinal wall, filling the rectum with a lot of mass already – before the large body has completely entered the hole. Especially for tighter built guys there is now a dual-struggle: Taking the width and the volume. So for most of my testees the most intense sensation was not the pop of the plugs but the sudden feeling of fullness inside the rectum!

Once inside, the fun starts with twisting and turning the plug. Since the small neck below the head is rather thick, it tries to erect itself again. So if through twisting it finds a softer space, it will extended again, massaging the intestinal wall. But also the prostate is in an exposed position. For most people the v-shaped groove is directly below the prostate. I leave it to your imagination what if feels like when the thick, little giving edges of the groove try to push the prostate away when twisting the plug.

Theoretically with the nice cone shape, the Happy Hour is a good to for stretch training. Actually, the oval and cone shaped maximum stretch very loosely resembles knots of anthropomorphic dildos. So it is a good toy to prepare your hole for this kind of dildo. But since the shape is so complex and stimulating in many ways, I recommend this toy only for loose and experienced hole. The rule of thumb developed by my testees is: When you can fit one size larger Egg plug comfortably, you are ready for the Happy Hour.

Construction

The Blunger starts out with an almost perfect half-dome with a diameter of 45mm to softly open up a trained sphincter. After a short resting recess, it gradually extends to 67mm after which a 50mm long and 51mm wide neck follows. Just at the end of the neck there is a 61mm diameter bulge, a bit like around the edge of an Acorn. Now again gradually the Blunger widens softly yet steadily to the max. oval diameter of 80x90mm. Below the maximum diameter it steeply drops to 69x80mm. After slightly decreasing in diameter for 35mm there is another 3mm bulge until you can rest on the neck above the rectangular foot after taking the entire 280mm insertable length.

The Torque is a completely different kind of toy: It starts out with a small, slightly point yet rounded tip. From there on four thick, deep ridges – like a wood drill -meander around an in diameter increasing core. The ridges are disrupted by two small untextured “necks”, dividing the toy into three, 85mm long segments. The first is one starts out at around 15mm with the tip and has a max. diameter of 65mm at around 70mm measured from the tip. The second segment is starts out at 62mm and a max. diameter of 77mm. The last one starts out at 75mm and flows into the rectangular base at 290mm insertable length without a neck at a whopping 100mm. The maximum diameter has to be taken with a grain of salt though: These is the maximum extension of two ridges, there is space between them to compress them. So taking the entire toy is feasible yet challenging even if you can’t take a 100mm plug.

To my surprise both toys despite being VERY intense are not only made in SquarePeg’s signature Supersoft Bronze and Graphite but also in Firm Black. Since the firmness also effects the bendiness of toys, I am actually not sure how a Blunger in firm black could work. If you have experience, please write to me.

Material-wise both toys are made with the high standards of all SquarePeg toys: Pure body-safe, easy to clean Platinum Silicone – ideal for allergic people or orgies. To clean them, throw them in the dishwasher, autoclave them, use bleach or dishsoap. They toys won’t mind and thus they are quickly clean and sterilized to be pushed into a new hole. Especially when you get the soft versions of this toy, store it upright or laying down without pressure to keep the toys from getting creases. Like all anal toys, you should store them only with toys of the same material together. Otherwise the plasticizers of vinyl for example can damage the silicone permanently and irreversible.  To keep the silicone in best shape and not risk tarnishing the surface, do not use silicone lube with these toys. They are safe with every other kind of lube like oil- or water-based ones.

This is going to be hard again: My testees and I all love both of these toys because of their creative, unique shape. These toys are great examples for the founder of SquarePeg being a sculpture and real ass aficionado. He just KNOWS how a toy needs to be shaped to hit the right spots. But because of their complex shape, the greatness is hard to convey this time. So I am going to give it a try…

In the quick info box I called both toys “depth toys” and that is true to some extended. Both are long enough to penetrate and stretch the second sphincter. But until you get there, you have to master both of these toys which is an intense, hot and horny challenge.

The Acron-Like Prostate stimulating Bulge on the Blunger

The Blunger feels a bit like a Best-of of all SquarePeg toys: It has the flowing thickening of the Ballistic toys, the prostate stimulating bulge of the Acorn, the round, easy-entry tips signature to Rik Jammer, the long resting necks of the Egg and the gentle neck decrease of the Slinks. All these unique shapes have been designed with a specific stimulating purpose in mind. By itself they are great, in the combination they are close to sensory overload. When vigorously fucking a loose (!) hole with the Blunger, a firework of different sensations is set off: From stretch in the sphincter over prostate simulation followed from a short moment of just “relaxing” friction at the middle-neck until the rodeo starts again. For most of my testees the most intense sensation was when taking the toy completely: Depending on your anatomy, you are either at maximum stretch or are stimulating your prostate at the last bulge when the tip begins to stretch the second sphincter and the Blunger starts to go deep. It is an intense, literally mind-blowing experience and not for the faint of heart. Especially when playing hard with the Blunger, make sure that the hole is trained and nicely loose. Otherwise the many stimulations can make it quickly tighten up.

Again, the Torque is a different kind of game. The small tip and gradual diameter increase make it a toy easy to take. Once inside the piece de résistance of the Torque is twisting it inside the hole. The thick ridges massage the sphincter, creating an interesting mix of friction and stretch sensation. If you go deeper, you can start playing with the angle to target the prostate and either forcefully massage it with the full width and thickness of the ridge or just lightly brush it. Once taken to the point that the tip reaches the second sphincter, it gets interesting again: Since the first segment is fairly thick and the ridges ridged, the twisting sensation inside this rarely stimulated body area was almost too much for even a depth experienced bottom who already has played with a Slink Vortex! The thickness and sturdiness of the ridges, the increase in diameter is just a (w)hole different level of intensity compared to the “soft” Slink Vortex.

While the Blunger is a good toy for selfplay (I actually recommend starting out to explore this toy on your own before letting another person work your hole over with it!), the Torque is more of a partner toy. Riding it is fun, but the thick ridges make achieving your “usual” diameter a challenge because the texture irritates the hole a bit. Yet the intense sensation of twisting and turning the ridges inside a loose hole is very difficult to achieve on your own.

How the times at ToyTorture.com have changed… When I started this website almost exactly 7 years ago, it was a platform purely for BDSM toys for gay men. Construction

The toys I reviewed in the past were most form follows function, designed with a specific stimulation in mind. But following the last Anal Toy Special, I got a lot of questions about realistic anal toys. So I am kicking of this one with a review of two products from SquarePeg’s realistic range. Both are casts from guys, the founder of SquarePeg met: Mel came to a fund raiser in 2012 where you could create your own dildo, Leo he got to know through friends in 2016. Lucky for us, they had not objections of the members joining the SquarePeg team.

Both toys come in two varieties: The standard version with a realistic base that mimics the balls and the Harness version which a round, flat base for using them with a strap-on harness. I will be reviewing the Harness varieties of these dildos in this review. Both varieties are alike but the base and because of this the total length and insertable length can differ a bit between models in the same size. The Harness dildos can be outfitted either with the SquarePegHole which works with fuck machine adaptors and the FlushCup, a suction cup. Sadly the options are exclusive and the suction cup do not come in every sizes which I find a bit annoying. But more about that later.

Being cast off US citizens, both models are cut. But this is where the similarities end. Leo starts out with an evenly tapered glans that flows into a shaft with just a very subtle rim. The top third of the dick is slightly curved back with the remaining shaft being straight, only slightly increasing in diameter towards the end. The shaft is covered with a smooth yet noticeable ventral groove and some small veins but overall it is a very even and soft toy to ride. As always with SquarePeg toys, the following measurements are only rough guidelines. Since every toy is made by hand, there can be diversion in size.

Mel is a completely different from Leo. He starts out with a big, fat and a bit blunt glans. His foreskin was cut completely so there is a large and relatively deep groove below the glans rim. This leads to a nice pop when the glans goes in before the shaft starts sliding in. The shaft has the same diameter as the glans rim and leans heavily towards the left. It is heavily textured with thick veins and a prominent ventral groove.  All this texture leads to an almost triangular shaft.

Like all SquarePeg toys, Leo and Mel are made out of platinum silicone, which means body safe and hypoallergenic platinum is used to cure the silicone. Besides platinum making the toy body safe, it makes the toys easy to handle. After having used them, you can basically throw everything at hem to get them clean: From hot water with dish soap over citrus or vinegar acid to bleach, the dishwasher or even autoclave them. This makes the toys ideal for sex parties because they can be quickly and easily be cleaned and sterilized between partners.

Since they are made out of soft silicone, store them upright or laying down without pressure to avoid creases. Never store them with other materials together because the plasticizers can damage the silicone for good!

Speaking of damaging your toys: Despite what the founder of SquarePeg says, I do the silicone oil in the lube will destroy silicone toys. I recommend only using water- or oil-based lube with silicone toys, especially because they are easier to clean off.

Playing with the Leo & Mel

Since the anatomy of both dicks is quite different, the sensation you can create with them is also very different. Leo is definitely the softer one of the two. His glans opens up the sphincter nicely and since is flow into the shaft with just a very little bump of foreskin, it is an easy toy to take. The very gradual and not too increase in diameter combines with the moderate texturing makes it a good toy for beginners. The stretch and “friction” sensation is noticeable but in a purely pleasurable way; there is not challenge, especially in the smaller two sizes. The larger ones from the 2X on are interesting in a different way: They help train the trickiest part of depth play, the initial opening. With length starting at 286mm and a diameter to length ratio up to 1:5.5, they should reach the second sphincter in most asses. Unlike the Slink or the Depth Probe which are good for exploring the depth of one’s gut, the Leo is more purpose driven in opening up and a bit desensitizing this delicate body area. Furthermore, because the shaft is thicker and thus a big more rigid and the overall length is not too much, the toy is easier to control, even when playing with yourself. Some testees actually used my Leo 2X to “fuck” their second sphincter open – and went on to buy the 2X Long or even the King to train further.

Mel however is a completely different story. To take the blunter and short glans, the hole should be pre-stretched. Otherwise the popping in can be quite intense. The rugged shaft in the same diameter doesn’t offer much rest either. Sliding up and down the shaft will intensely stimulate the sphincter even at the size small. Do not let yourself be fooled by the attribute “small”: That size is for intermediates and not for people starting out with anal play. My 2X actually found the most fans under my fistees. It is the perfect toy mid-fisting scene. It stretches and stimulates in a comfortable size when you have been punched, yet is not too extreme for loose holes. The short length doesn’t reach the delicate area of the second sphincter so involuntary tightening of the hole is unlikely. If the hole is too loose, twisting and turning during the fucking can spark things up a bit, especially when the ventral groove “beats” the prostate. For selffucking the Mel also was popular with less experience anal players who have a bit complex rectum which does not extend straight forward but bends. The bend in the toy prevents unintended irritations once you have found the sweet spot.

The bend is also one of the shortcomings of the toy when riding it. Because the heavy head tilts towards the left, the way too small FlushCup cannot support the weight. After a short time the toy will tip over. I have tested the FlushCup on the Mel 2X and on a friend’s Leo 2X and it seems to be to small and too weak to keep bigger and heavier toys in check. Same applies for the size of the harness base. It is a bit too small and too thin for a rigorous fucking. There is always a chance of it slipping out. Still, I prefer the Harness version of the realistic one. Especially with lubey hands, the soft, collapsible base is easier to grip than the round scrotum of the realistic ones.

The final point of critic – albeit a personal one – is the choice of materials. All realistic dildos from SquarePeg come in their signature Bronze, cool Graphite an Chestnut (a skin tone) – all in supersoft. I am well aware that as a guy who enjoys a punch-fucking with a Peggar Extractor I am representing a minority of intense anal torment (?) players. But on the other hand I do not want to be patronized regarding what is “too extreme”. A long Leo in firm used gently could train and straighten up the guts for manual depth play; a Mel in firm would pleasure and challenge even the loosest hole.

Does this make the two dildos bad or undesirable toys? Most certainly not! They instantly became part of my fisting and selfplay repertoire and I very much enjoy using them (on me). Sometimes I just wish these awesome toys would be a bit greater than they already are.

Construction & Basic Play Advice

The ToolBits like all Square Peg sounds are hand-made in Oregon out of their graphite colored platinum silicone. Though the color is not as deep and rich as in the anal toys but a bit more opaque. Like the Square Peg anal toys the material is very soft & squishy and has a super smooth surface. While the super smooth surface helps them to glide easily into the urethra, the softness allows the complex textures to simulate this sensitive body area without causing harm. Also, it compresses the sound when it should get tight. This property is necessary, because most of the designs are considerably larger than the “standard” sounding play sizes of 6mm or 8mm. Furthermore it makes these sounds great for play while a PA is still inserted. This being said while through their softness they theoretically are good for beginners because they cannot injure the urethra, they are a bit harder to handle, especially when the piss hole is not used to being stretched and the sphincter just below the meatus has to be gently (!!!) pushed open. So I recommend training with a smooth metal sound to open up this hole and later introduce the delights of the ToolBits’ texture. All of these toys have a short hexagonal base which allow a somewhat secure grip even with lubey hands and prevent it from accidently being swallowed hole.

Before and after play, the ToolBits need to be properly and thoroughly sanitized! Otherwise playing with them can lead to nasty infections! Being made out of platinum silicone means, they are not only 100% body-safe and hypoallergenic but can basically be treated like stainless steel or aluminum urethra toys when it comes to cleaning: They can be boiled, autoclaved, put in the dishwasher or thrown into bleach – or just soaked in hot dish soap water, dried and then sprayed with a sanitizer.

Like all things that go into your urethra, they should only be used with sterile water-based lube. Period! End of discussion! Ever since I started reviewing urethra toys, I have been getting messages, asking if there are instances where you can use a different kind of lube or that people have been using silicone lube without any problems, etc. So let me emphasis it here again: Water-based lube gets absorbed by the body, silicone- and oil-based not, providing nourishment for bacteria! To even further decrease the chances of that happening, use sterile lube in small sachets because one you open a tube of sterile KY lube, it becomes unsterile. So I strongly recommend getting the more expensive small sachets so be safe than sorry!

The ToolBits are named with just single letters. Instead of describing them alphabetically, I decided to talk about them in increasing level or intensity.

H

With a diameter of 7mm the H is one of the thinnest ToolBits and thus the easiest to take. If an 8mm stainless steel sound goes in and out the meatus easily, you are ready for the H. The texture is a strand of 4mm tall beads with a 2/3mm neck between each one. There are 13 beads over the length of 82mm. Before the body flows into the base there is a 6mm tall barrel with 4 very faint ridges, like a machine screw’s thread. If you insert the toy all the way and you have a very sensitive sphincter, you can actually feel the ridged gently tantalizing it. Because the texture is so smooth and calm compared to the other sounds reviewed here, it is also a good toy to start venturing deeper into your dick because while the sensations of being stimulated deep inside the shaft are intense, through the evenness and smoothness of the texture they are still well to handle.

E

The tip of the E is a five-ridge woodscrew-thread like vortex which starts out with 4mm diameter and increases to 7mm over a length of 26mm. The grooves between the ridges are about half a millimeter deep so when you twist and turn the sound inside the urethra you get a spinning feeling. The grooves also contain lube very well so the fins glide smoothly. Below the vortex the is a 4mm thick and 10.5mm wide disc. Most of my testees used this as the sign of how deep they can go. Two very eager urethra players pushed it through the sphincter and sounded deep with the E; after the disc there is a 27mm and 8mm thick shaft. There is a bit of taper towards the maximum diameter of the disc and since it is not too thick, it gives in but pushing it though the sphincter does feel intense. Since now there is an intense stretch inside the shaft of the dick, only the tip of the vortex is felt deeper inside but only faintly. All sensations are overpowered by the stretch sensation and the friction around it. Give it a try, but this kind of deep sounding with the E did not win favors with me and my testee panel.

The Different Stretch Sections of the I

I

If you want to gently stretch and train the dick’s sphincter, the I is the toy to go to. It starts out with an anal plug-like tip which tapers from a 6mm round tip to a max. stretch of 9mm over 19mm and then recedes to a 8mm long and 7mm thick shaft section. Then the plug widens again to 9mm stretch in the middle of a 12mm long facetted section until flowing into another 25mm of shaft. Just like training your anus, gently fucking your meatus with this plug, stretching the hole open, allowing to close and opening uo again will allow the sphincter to relax more easily over time. Because the toy is so long making it hard to control and the maximum stretch comes after a relatively short way, this toy is for the more experienced player.

B

The B is for the real experienced stretch-sensation seeker. It starts out with an 8mm tall and 7mm diameter hemisphere which makes for a real dull entry. Since the 8mm are usually not long enough to push through sphincter completely, the following stretch to 11m over just 5mm is intense. Then there is a 2mm wide and 2/3mm deep grove until it tapers from 11mm to the 8mm shaft diameter in just 5mm. Over 14mm the shaft keeps the thickness but then there is a jump to 9mm without any taper. This section is 16mm and ends at the base. Through the overall bluntness of the toy design, it is only for experience sounders who can take at least 9mm steel diameter easily.

The Square Peg Longneck Humped

Construction

The Longneck Humped starts out with a plug section which looks a little bit like a goose’s head or a hand with closed fingers for a fisting. It tapers conically over the first 65mm for very easy insertion, then one side smoothly increases to a bump with a max. diameter of 70mm. Below this plug-like head the shaft tapers like on a Slink with a faint, almost Acorn-like ridge of 77mm diameter above the plug-like neck. The base is a solid and rectangular for a secure stand and to prevent the Longneck to accidently disappear inside the bottom’s ass. The overall length of the Longneck Humped is 360mm of which 300mm are usable.

As already written: The Longneck Humped is very easy to insert due to the conically shaped tip. The bump into which it flows is an nifty feature. Through the bump the head does not only resemble the shape of a hand, accustoming the colon to the feeling of such an object moving forward, but it gives the toy a “sense of direction”. You can feel where it goes and through twisting discover which is the easiest way around the bends deep inside the ass. This helps to get a feeling how a hand should navigate when trying to venture in depth play. The solid, “edged” base helps a top to precisely twist and turn the Longneck to find the way of the lowest resistance when slowly and carefully (!) pushing forward. When doing this exploring on your own, the Longneck is a bit more difficult to handle. Through the soft material which makes it easy to move around the bends it collapses and flops easily. This makes it hard to ride and even without a suction cup, the stickiness of the silicone makes it hard to twist and navigate the toy when the base rests on the floor. So you rather move while squatting over it instead of twisting the toy… When lying on the back, it takes both hands reaching back to support the body until it is deep inside the colon. This position takes a lot of body tension, leading to a not really relaxed bowels which makes the play more challenging again. Because of that for beginners, it is a bit more of a couples’ toy. When starting going deep on your own, I would recommend a Slink or Depth Probe.

But if you are more experience and due to training the toy finds its way inside you on its own, it is a great toy for self-play and further depth training. Riding it, it hits all the right places. The plug part massages or gently fucks the inner sphincter while the ridge at the bottom targets the prostate and anus. This kind of double stimulation was actually so intense, that some of the testees had to reduce the “usual” fucking speed because they considered the Longneck Humped too intense.

What is Peg Away Putty for?

There are many great ass toy manufacturers out there who produce an incredible number of different toys for every kind of ass, kink and fantasy. Yet each ass is different, each bottom’s “itch” is placed somewhere else. For this kind of situation, Square Peg introduced their Peg Away Putty. As the name says, it is a putty you can mold to alter the shape of your silicone (and ONLY silicone, best platinum silicone!) toys to fit your needs best. You can also create entire toys from scratch, starting from sounds over what Square Peg calls “bands” which you can put on your wrist for fisting or your toys to add texture up to entire plugs and dildos though this will be a pricy endeavor.

What do you get?

Each set consists of two containers: One with an opaque white activator for curing the silicone and one with the colored putty. This putty comes in all typical Square Peg colors and firmnesses: The iconic bronze and graphite in supersoft, in firm the classic black but also in white, blue red, yellow, green, pink, brown, purple, orange and grey. The entire container does not need to be used at once. Just take as much putty and activator as you need and close the container afterwards. You also get a manual which explains how to use the putty correctly (and which I have misplaced).

How do you use it?

Before you start actually using it on toys, I recommend playing with the putty without the activator to get a feeling for the material, how it behaves, how you could shape it and how to mold it on the toy. Without the activator it won’t cure so you can play around with it, try a different shape and start over again.

When you have gathered enough experience, realized your idea in vitro without the activator and got a feeling how much putty you need for your project, the toy, surface and hands need to be prepared. All surfaces coming in contact with the putty must be grease and dirt free. So I recommend washing everything with a degreasing dish soap. When you are from the USA I recommend the simple Dawn Ultra (NOT the ones with lotion or special smell or else), in Germany I use either Pril or Fit. The putty should best be used with well cleaned bare hands, because gloves can be covered in stuff which can hinder the curing process. Also, the putty comes off the hands so easily, you do not need gloves. If you have very sensitive hands, Square Pegs offers special glove which are made to work with the putty.

To ensure a proper curing and bonding, you have to use equal parts of putty and activator. This means you will need half the putty amount from your in vitro tests. Now knead both elements on a smooth surface like a glass cutting borad until you get a homogenous mixture. And then the shaping starts. Like good pizza dough, the mixture is very elastic and tends to return to its original shape. So it needs a bit of beating and stretching until it maintains the desired shape. Wrapping it around plastic tubes helps with that. Once the final shape is reached, either gently yet firmly attach the putty to the existing toy or add texture. Now the toy needs to rest for at least three hours for the curing and bonding to take place – I recommend letting it sit over night – and then your new toy is ready to go.

So much for the technical part. But how does it feel to work with it? To be honest, I am not the most handy person and I was afraid to use the Peg Away Putty. But the playing around with the putty helped a lot and showed me how easy it is. When altering a toy, I recommend taking it easy and not add too much material. Especially when it comes to adding texture to a toy, even little and subtle additions can have a big affect on how the toy feels; adding a bit of girth with a steep slope can turn an easy fucker into a hard struggle.

Construction

The Mega Milk’it borrows its basic shape from the popular Egg plug with it smooth, oval body, a smaller neck and a stretched base to fit comfortably between the ass cheeks. Though both sides of the body are very different: One side has a small bulge above before the taper towards the base, very similar to the Acorn. The other side has been “cut off” and replaced with ridges around the rim and two thicker, thus sturdier ones sticking out of the hollow carved into the body. The base on the side of the ridge is flat, on the side of the ridges it is curved upward like on the Egg plug.

The overall height of the plug is 150mm of which the body takes up 110mm. The body is 64mm wide and measuring the ridges on the rim 54mm deep. Because the ridges fold easily and the body has relatively little mass due to the deep hollow it folds easily, making it easy to insert despite the texture. The upward pointing tip raises 40mm above the base.

Like all Square Peg toys the Mega Milk’it is made out of platinum silicone which makes the toy body safe, hypo allergenic and easy to clean. Though you should not use it with silicone lube because the silicone oil in it will damage the toy.

As written already, the Mega Milk’it is quite easy to insert. I recommend using lots of lube, maybe even injecting some lube into the ass because this is not a toy for long-term wearing but for moving inside the hole targeting the prostate. Alternatively – for extra effect – hold the head of a massager against the base. The soft material will transmit the vibration onto the prostate and sphincter making it buzz and the bottom squirm and scream.

Both sides have very different effects which greatly depend on the bottom’s anatomy. The bulge is meant for moving the toy in and out, massaging the prostate in a smooth, flowing way. Some testees – like me – would have wished for a little bit more prominent bulge but this can easily be fixed using Square Peg’s Peg Away Putty. The ridges both work when fucking with the toy but also for twisting inside the hole and are a little bit better for vibrations because through the smaller contact area they are felt more intense. In order to fully enjoy the ridges, the ass has to be fairly relaxed; otherwise the just fold creating a still textured surface instead of sticking out ridges. When using this side of the toy, the base’s tip also massages the prostate on the perineum. BUT: The side only worked for about 60% of my testee panel.  To explain why, let’s dive a bit into anatomy: A healthy prostate is an about walnut sized organ sitting just behind the sphincter and above the perineum. Depending on the individual anatomy, it can be half a walnut bulging the rectum’s mucosa or just be a little, almost unnoticeable rising. If the latter is the case, the ridges inside the hollow do not reach is, just the flappy ones around the rim can stimulate it, making it hard to target.

So despite this being a good and fun toy, I would not consider it a great toy. The hollow is too deep to make it enjoyable for everyone. The ridges are just a bit too flappy for an on point stimulation. Part of the criticism could be addressed with offering the toy also in Firm Black. With this added firmness and with just a little bit thicker (thus sturdier) and especially in the middle longer ridges, it could bring fun to every prostate.

About half a year ago I reviewed the two most popular depth toys from Square Peg: The Depth Probe and the “smooth” Slink. Since then I have gotten many reader questions about the Slink, especially the textured models which I will answer in this review.

The Square Peg Slink Smooth S, Vortex and Ripple M

I have also been getting questions about the Slink Spike and the Slink Stretch which exceeded my budget. If you want to fix that, feel free to get in touch 😉

Construction

Both Slinks have the same basic shape as the smooth one: At the bottom there is an oval, 20% larger than maximum stretch base which fits well between the ass cheeks. It can also be equipped with a suction cup, ideal for selfplay in the bathroom. On the base’s rim there is the toy’s name and size imprinted into. The base flows into a short tapered neck for long-term wearing or resting when getting fucked with the slink. The neck quickly extends to the maximum stretch which than tappers in very long cone to a pointy yet rounded tip.

As the name already says, the Ripple’s body is covered with gentle, about 2mm deep grooves. The distance between the grooves starts out at about 20mm and gets smaller the closer they get to the tip. Around the Vortex’s body run four 6mm high ridges like on a wood drill.

The Vortex only comes in one size with an overall length of 500mm and a maximum stretch of 60mm which places it between the Medium and Medium/Large smooth Slink. The Ripple Slink comes in too standard Slink sizes medium (length 405mm and max. diameter 61mm) and large (length 533mm and max. diameter 69mm). Like all Slinks these two toys come in SuperSoft Bronze and Graphite. I have been asked numerous times why you can’t get it in Firm Black. Since the firmness and thus rigidness of a toy increases with the thickness, the bendiness the Slink needs to meander through the guts would be lost

Playing with the Ripple & Vortex Slink

Since I already talked at length about the Slink as a depth toy, I want to focus on how the specific design features impact the play. First, the Ripple Slink. One of the “disadvantages” of the smooth Slink is, that it just smoothly flows inside the bowels. While this is good to train the butt, most of the feeling is lost. The Ripple fixes that because the grooves add a bit of friction. Not so much that it would be difficult to insert because they are not too deep and the edges are well rounded. But the sensitive nerve endings inside the guts and sphincter notice them. So it is a more “fun” sensation getting fucked with the Ripple compared to the smooth one. The grooves also divide the body a bit into sections which are points where it bends easier compared to the “solid” smooth body. This makes navigating inside twisted passages easier.

The Vortex also introduces a new sensation. When twisting the toy, the helix-like ridges create an intense sense of motion rarely felt on other anal toys. Especially deep inside the guts it is a weird, unusual though by for most of my testees not unpleasant sensation. While the Ripple’s bendiness is good for exploring willing guts, the Vortex is ideal for bowels which are a bit challenging. The ridges add sturdiness but if you hold it loosely, it will twist in the way of lowest resistance and find its way. The inner organs are a delicate body area so please always be cautious! A bit of force is ok with the Vortex, too much can cause serious injuries! Also, through the large surface area, the Vortex needs considerably more lube than the smooth or Ripple Slink!

While both toys are great to explore ones hole deeper, since they are too thin on the deeper end to prepare for real depth fisting. They are more toys to straighten the bowels out, accustomed them to the sensation of mechanical stimulation which ultimately makes relaxing easier during deep fisting. For stretch training the gateway to the guts, I recommend the Long Neck which I will be reviewing in a few weeks.
