Bold Design & Sophisticated Scents: Good Boi Candles
A scented candle is probably one of the most universal gifts for a gay/ kinkster. We all love decorating (just look at the effort we are putting into to get the mood in our play spaces just right) and everybody had that kind of scenes where a scented candle was necessary to restore olfactoric order in our apartment again. Scents are also very powerful triggers. They can instantly create moods and feelings. Because of that I know many kinksters who light scanted candles to mark the start of the comedown or make the post play snuggles even more enjoyable.
While you can do this with very scented candle – from the big blue bag store to little D from Paris – buying from a community member who gives back is always the better option. Good Boi Candles was founded by two queers in London almost three years ago. They take their scent inspiration from the kink and queer community. With scent names like „Cream Pie“, „Whip Crack“ or „Cottaging“ you know they know and they mean business.
The Color Packaging of Good Boi Candles
Being based in the UK, I sadly did not have a chance to try the scents themselves. But within the past 24 months they have become the favorite scented candle brand from several UK friends. So I take their word for it. And to for £29 per candle, you cannot make much wrong for a hand-poured candle while supporting a community member.
From the descriptipons on their website my favorite would probably be Cottaging since I like citrus and especially Bergamot and Cruising or Morning Wood for their woody, earthy tones. But they also have spicy and fruity varieties. So I am sure you can find the right scent for both your hard leather dom Sir and favorite fabulous queen.
