Weredog’s Rutt & Skylar

In last year’s anal toy special I already reviewed Weredog’s Gage and liked it a lot. But the toys I am getting the most reader questions about are actually the Rutt followed by the Skylar. So let’s take a look at these toys.

Construction

To put it short, Rutt is a stylized version of a canine dick. Typical for this kind of dong, the glans is dullish with a little tip at the bottom. The shaft above the knot bulges a bit. The knot itself has three bulges instead the two a realistic one would have. Below the knot there is a short shaft before a hinted pocket and two balls form the base.

Skylar’s Softly Tapering Glans

The Skylar is quite different. His glans is softly tapering and features a shallow glans rim just like a human glans. The long shaft is concave but the top’s curvature is lower than the bottom’s. This way the shaft bulges in the middle. The bottom is textured with six scale-like ridges while the lower half of the top features increasingly deeper bumps. The body sits on a big light textured base.

All of Weredogs toys are made out of high quality platinum silicone meaning they are easy to clean and hypo-allergenic. It comes on 24 colors, 22 standard ones and two Glow in the Dark shades (green and blue) which adds 10% to the base price. Under daylight they look off-white but once it gets dark they have the brightest and longest glow of all Glow in the Dark toys I have seen so far! For 10€ you can add a second color either as a marble (as my two toys are), swirl and split base. Weredog also offers a Surprise Me option for 19.48€ but only do that if you are very adventurous! I have tried that option several times with several manufacturers and was unimpressed. If you invest such a large sum of money into your dream anal toy, at least make it right the way you want it.

Rutt & Skylar Glowing in the Dark

Firmness-wise Weredog is on the softer side of the spectrum. Their soft is Shore 00-37, the medium Shore 00-41 and the firm Shore 00-45. The Shore 00 scale and the Shore A-scale which for example Bad Dragon uses are hard to compare but the Bad Dragon medium firmness is about as firm as Weredog’s firm. While Weredog like all major companies offers sample discs to try out the firmness at home, I am not the biggest fan of them. The larger a toy, the firmer it feels and the less flexible it will be. So choose the firmness with a grain of salt. What you don’t have to chose because it comes standard with every toy is a nifty storage bag.

Playing with the Skylar & Rutt

As already written, both toys are hard to compare. Counter intuitively the Skylar is actually a good trainings and pre-stretching toy – at least in soft or medium firmness. The long, tapering glans opens up the sphincter(s) softly for an easy entry without much pre-stretch. Despite the thick shaft, inside the rectum it is bendy enough to find its way towards the second sphincter and thus train your hole for depth play. Meanwhile the scales gently massage the first (an depending on the size second!) sphincter for added stimulation. Due to the strong curvature it is almost impossible to get prostate stimulation out of the scales. For this, the bumps on the top are good yet they are so shallow

Skylar’s Ridges

If you buy Skylar in firm, he becomes a toy for the experienced. The ridges feel so much more intense, a testee called my firm XL a “horny cheese grater”. Using quite some force, Skylar’s tip can twist. But this too little for gentle training. He will rearrange your guts! So a welcoming second sphincter and slow insertion is paramount when playing with a larger firm Skylar. Once he is in and you really need it hard, it is a great toy to unleash upon your hole to really trash it!

Rutt’s Dull Glans

Rutt in any case requires training and pre-stretching! This starts with the dullish glans which forces the sphincter open instead of slowly opening it up. The barrel-like shaft is untextured but since the diameter in the middle is 34% larger than the glans a bit of a stretch. From the glans runs a small ventral groove that can add stimulation when twisted inside the hole.

Though if the shaft and ventral groove excites you, you are not nearly prepared for what comes next! Compare to other K9 inspired dildos, Rutt’s knot top is quite dull. So if your hole is not loose enough, it will not get in! The knotting is made even more intense but the third bulge on top of the shaft! All in all, the shaft-knot-ratio is an insane 1:2 which made the Rutt the favorite for knot fucking among some of my testees.

A great feat of Rutt is that his shaft is relatively short. This means even not so depth-savvy size queens can enjoy the Rutt. Speaking of size-queens, a drop of bitterness is the sizing range on Rutt: While the large one is a bit small for experienced players, the XL is so much larger than I know only few who can take him. A size between those would be great!

The Oxballs Pig-Hole is one of the most widely used anal toys in the kink scene. The Deep-2 is a special, extra long version of it.

In the lower half the design is almost like on his shorter brother: An oval base surrounds a 40x60mm hoping hole. The base is wide so it does not get accidently sucked into the rectum. An about 40mm and thus almost twice as long neck as on the standard Pig-Hole raise out of the base. Above it sits a barrel shaped body which on the inside is reinforced by grooves so it does not collapse that easily. The body measures 71x85mm on the outside (if you have a technique to measure the inside dimensions, hit me up) so size-wise the Deep-2 sits between the Pig-Hole XL and XXL (or 4 and 5 if you go by the embossed numbers). The biggest difference between the standard and the Deep Pig-Hole is above the body. Out of it raises a tube. Since its top is slanted it is 55mm high on the short and 70mm on the tall side.

Like on all Pig-Holes there is a little relievo with the product name and the size number rising from the base’s rim – just in case you are wondering which size your greedy hole just swallowed.

There is a smaller version out there called the Deep-1 which is about 17% smaller in every dimension and thus too small to fist through for example. I would only recommend buying it when you rectum is too small to fit the Deep-2’s long tube. Otherwise, buy the toys for the hole you want not the hole you have, while respecting your body’s limits, especially depth-wise.

Playing with the Pig-Hole Deep-2

Most important thing first: The Pig-Hole Deep is made for loose holes. Really loose holes! If your hole cannot swallow the tube and the body with ease, you will not have much fun with this toy. While the  standard Pig-Hole can be folded to be pushed through the sphincter, the long tube and the barrel cannot be folded when lubed up. So it either goes in as it is or it doesn’t.

Still with me? Then you are a greedy ass pig and this toy is a good addition to your toy collection! Both the opening and the body are a bit smaller than on the Pig-Hole XXL. Yet a determined fister with maximum medium sized hands can fist through the neck, placing the fist inside the body. Once there, the fun really starts. When he starts to move his wrist and fingers, the end of the tube will stimulate the sensitive mucosa of the rectum. Fisting into the Deep-2 is easier with the blue colored Morph Silicone version which is about 10% softer than the red and black silicone. While this does not sound much, it is a lot! Yet it requires an even looser hole to be inserted.

In really rare cases, the anus and the second sphincter align that the tip pushes through it, sending the bottom into ecstasy.  In this case, the Pig-Hole Deep is a great gateway into the colon, making depth play with toys considerably easier. But this is a unicorn situation just two lucky testee tops each had once.  Another unicorn situation is finding a top with small hands and arms who can push trough all the way – if you have a large enough rectum. A friend of mine has XS hands and managed to do this with his partner. Every movement of his arm and wrist was transferred onto the toy, stimulating anus, prostate and rectum at the same time.

But enough for these borderline and once-in-a-million cases. Even if your top has large hands, the Pig-Hole Deep has much to offer. Twisting the tunnel plug will stimulate the rectum because the slanted top moves over the mucosa. For even stronger stimulation and added pressure on the prostate you can stuff it with other toys; my choice is a SquarePeg Medium Acorn or XL Egg. These toys are perfect for transmitting vibrations. Simply press a massager of your choice – I would recommend a Doxy – and watch your bottom squirm. In theory you can place the massager’s head into the Pig-Hole Deep’s body but I would only recommend that if you have a masochistic sub, a soundproof playroom and your bottom is securely fettered inside the sling (including some form of waist restraints!). The direct stimulation is VERY intense and lead to quick safewording – or hands-free orgasms. It was definitively not my cup of tea but everybody is different.

Humphrey starts out with a little bit dullish glans like on a realistic dildo. It even features an implied piss slit. The glans rim is already the maximal diameter of this toys.

The slightly convex shaft has an about 10% smaller diameter. But it is textured with bumps all over. Left and right of the shaft run a small vein-like groove which separates the bottom with shallower bumps from the top with deeper bumps.

The base is thick and sturdy for an exceptional secure stand even when riding the dildo HARD! For an additional 10€ the base can be equipped with a vac-u-lock hole. This hole in combination with a vac-u-lock handle is a great addition when you want to fuck somebody lying in a sling in front of you because the big base is a bit cumbersome. Testees have reported that despite the weight my large Humphrey also works well on fuck machines so I am taking their word for it.

Speaking of customization, this is of course the piece de resistance of Organotoy which are masters of turning platinum silicone into insertable fantasies. Firmnesswise, you can choose between an ultra squishy Shore 00-30 which will most likely not stand up almost metal firm A30 which will turn the bumps into a cheese grater. The same applies to colors which range from solid ones over fade and marble, mica effect colors with UV and Glow in the Dark capabilities up to custom airbrush designs. My large Humphrey has the color called “dark rainbow” which looks a bit like Tahiti pearls and I like it a lot!

The Dullish Glans

The Humphrey is not a beginner’s toy or a toy to begin a scene with. The bluntish glans makes the first penetration intense! A good pre-stretch is highly recommended to make the sphincter open up when this brute knocks on the door.

The is not much space below the glans rim so the sphincter cannot rest and get used to the stretch of the glans. If you are not careful the massive stretch transits directly onto the coarse shaft. Depending on the shaft firmness and the riding speed it is either a gentle message or an agonizing torment. But despite raising high they are rounded and smooth enough to never pose a injury threat, even when they are VERY firm. Because the bumps on the bottom are shallower than on the top, the most fun my testees and I had was when a top was controlling the Humphrey and twisted it inside the rectum. This way the top can decide of the prostate gets massaged with the easier or more challenging side.

The Deep Texture with the Ventral Groove

Due to the large and massive base this toy is also good for solo play. It will not move or topple down. The slight convex shaft presses the toy towards the prostate. With a bit of training you can learn how to maneuver the massive glans in the right direction to best apply pressure on the prostate for an intense stimulation. For this I would have wished for a larger gap between the glans and the shaft texture to really lock the toy in place and play with the ridge for stimulation purposes.

But this is only a minor point of criticism. The main event of the Humphrey is its textured shaft where it shines. A friend is considering getting it in split firmness with a softer glans to go in easier and a firmer shaft for more stimulation. Though be warned: Too firm bumps can turn your moans of ecstasy into quite different screams…

Happy Pride Month! It’s the most wonderful time of the year for us non-straight perverts so I am going to kick-off the months with a review of my latest rainbow colored toy, the Organotoy Ripley. This is going to be a special toy, because the Ripley started out as a toy I designed for myself and some very greedy play partners. But the guys from Organotoy liked the design so much they asked if they could add it to their collection. I do pro bono toy design for all kinds of companies so why not?

The Organotoy Ripley

Construction

Literally Ripley’s core is a 320mm long column with 60mm diameter. The top 35mm have the shape of a slightly elongated half-dome. After a just 10mm short shaft the first bulge raises almost perpendicular out of the shaft. These bulge are 15mm wide, 10mm tall and are rounded. There are a total of 6 bulges around the shaft with 27mm between them. After the last bulge there is a 40mm long “neck” to rest until a round base with 100mm diameter gives the toy a sturdy stand and keeps it from accidently getting swallowed by a greedy hole. The base is 32mm tall and comes standard with a surprisingly strong suction cup! For an extra 10€ you can get a Vac-u-Lock hole instead. Such a hole is a nifty feature not only if you have a fuck machine but putting a thumb into it makes guiding the toy into a fistee’s ass easier.

As for every of their toy, Organotoy offers a firmness range from Shore 00-30 up to rubber-firm A30. Personally, I found Shore A5 the best compromise between challenging pop and still manageable insertion. But since I prefer my toys on the firmer end of the hardness scale, I am not a good reference.

The same wide range applies to the color scheme: Organotoy can do (almost) everything you can imagine. From unicolors over marbles with my beloved glow in the dark colors to extravagant patterns they can make every twisted fantasy come true. My two Ripleys are airbrushed because I wanted a the bulges to a distinctly different color from the shaft which silicone cannot do. You would always see a bleeding on the edges.

What sets an airbrushed toy apart from other silicone toys is the finish process. A freshly cast toy is sprayed with a layer of translucent silicone. Into this then still wet layer colored silicone is painted or sprays (thus the name “airbrush”). Finally, a protective coat of 5 to 8 layers clear silicone is sprayed onto the finished toy to protect the color. Once dried, the toy gets tempered and now has a beautiful and smooth silicone skin.

The lead designer of Organotoy is a former Hollywood SFX makeup artist who can great incredibly detailed paintings (like the Biohazard sign on the training plug I developed for my BF; another design Organotoy adopted). So coloring my Rainbow Rammler and Flash Gordon Coil was a jiffy.

The silicone skin of an airburshed silicone toy is smooth and glossy compared to the relatively matt surface of a “just” cast toy. The skin is sturdy – as long as you do not attack it with acetone, cut it, use a steel sponge or use silicone lube. Just treat it like you would your skin and you are fine. Friends of mine have been using their airbrushed toys from Organo for well over half of a decade and they are as good as new. The clear silicone and the colors used for the airbrush as well as the process are – like the silicone – 100% body safe. And smell-free. It pains me to have to stress this, but in the past few months I have been getting more and more messages of people who have bought allegedly silicone toys which smelled funnily. A body-safe silicone toy out of the factory will never smell! Though silicone can of course take on smells over time.

First a disclaimer: I have designed this toy so I will not talk about my experience with it. I might be too biased. My personal experience comes in when I critic my creation.

The toy is for bottoms who like it rough! And who are loose. Like, really loose! The steep, perpendicular bulges give the sphincter no chance to gradually open up. The anus either lets the toy in or it doesn’t. There is little in between. You can force the Ripley in but the popping will be intense! And you have to figure out the right degree of force. Otherwise serious injuries to the sphincter can occur!

The Ripley was designed to “rip” lose holes apart, give it maximum stimulation through the extreme texture. It is best when loose ass lips slobber around it. It’s definitively an end of scene toy. One to finish the hole for good. The combination of stretch and pressure (quickly over) stimulates the nerve ending dense, sensitive anus. For less vigorous action a skilled top can learn how to utilize the tip and the first bulge for targeted prostate stimulation. While this is less forceful than a hole destroying fucking, it still requires an open anus.

For both kinds of stimulation an about 15mm longer shaft above the first bulge would be great. Either for more easily reaching the prostate or for “anchoring” the toy inside the anus. If you fuck quickly and forcefully the toy can slip out of the hole. This is something I did not think of when drawing the design of this toy. I already told Organotoy to fix this before they add the toy to their webshop.

But the lead designer is female and the Ripley apparently is perfect for G-spot stimulation. Something that my FtM friends confirmed. A longer shaft would hurt women with a sensitive cervix so they decided to keep my initial toy design. If you pay a bit attention, keeping the toy inside the bottoms greedy ass can be done so I guess it is not too much of a problem to use the toy as it is.

Construction

The Hilt is made out of the best material possible for an anal toy: Platinum silicone. This kind of silicone is 100% body safe and hypo allergenic. Its super smooth surface makes it not only easy to clean and insert but keeps bacteria from settling.

The toy comes either in blue or their signature Forge Red, a marble of red and charcoal-steel which I like a lot! It brings a sexy, brooding atmosphere to the play. Being a marble and thus a bit more difficult to cast, the Forge Red toys costs 10CAD more but like all silicone toys it will last you a lifetime so it is a worthwhile investment! Regardless of the color, the silicone has a firmness of Shore 00-34 which is quite soft.

The Hilt comes in three sizes. For this review I tested the Hilt 115, the other sizes were supplied by friends who have the other sizes in their playroom.

The Hilt’s Glans with the Ridge in the Middle and the „Hook“ on the Back

Playing with the Hilt

The Hilt starts out with an oval glans. Unlike other toys which have a smooth and rounded tip, this one has a ridge in the middle. At the back it has a hook-like drop and around it runs a ridge that flows into the top of the shaft and forms a ventral groove there. The shaft itself quite voluminous with bulges on the side. The smooth, flowing lines make it an interesting and not too challenging toy to ride – once you have taken the popping glans. But this soft and stimulating ride does little to prepare you for what’s to come.

Compared to other toys, the top of the knot is very flat and wide. There is no steep slope gently seducing your hole to open up to the maximum diameter. Either it is loose enough of the knot will jam! To this adds the softness of the material. Unlike firmer material (Shore A5 and up) which can force the sphincter open, the soft Shore 00-34 silicone will rather flatten and this increase the diameter instead of popping through this sphincter. What makes the knotting even more extreme and challenging is that the knot sits perpendicular to the shaft. For a thorough pre-stretch I recommend to twist and turn the shaft to loosen up the hole as good as possible. That being said, I consider myself an experienced fistee and it took me a couple of weeks until I knotted my Hilt 115. It was a blissful experience but took some work and stretching. So this is definitively not a beginner’s toy but for the real ass pigs out there!

The Flat and Wide Knot of the Hilt

An old and tired fister’s bon mot about big plugs is “When it fits, it sits” and the Hilt is not different. After the maximum diameter it tapers conically and relatively steeply towards the neck. But the anuses of most of my testees were so “traumatized” in a good way that they did not want to let go of the toy. And while the conically shape above the neck opens the sphincter up well for the pull-out, the brutish-dull knot requires a VERY loose hole for knot-fucking – and a somewhat alert top. The base is not much wider than the knot yet being not so thick softer. So a greedy, depth-savvy fistee might swallow the base.

On the base is also self-play potential lost with not including a suction cup! The Hilt would be a perfect toy to mount onto the shower wall and fuck yourself with it. On a smooth surface, the base is wide and sticky enough for the Hilt to be ridden. But a bit wide, a bit thicker base with a suction cup or at least a Vac-u-Lock hole would have been A+. Especially considering Topped Toys is marketing the Hilt as a “Rideable Toy”.

When a skilled top is controlling the toy, the many ridges make the Hilt a prostate stimulation beast! There is the hook at the top of the glans and the glans ridge, the ventral groove and of course the knot. To be honest, it takes some time to get to know the toy so thoroughly and to figure out where and how to twist the Hilt to apply pressure. But once a top has mastered how the toy behaves in his bottom’s rectum it is a nifty too for targeted stimulation.

The silicone’s softness in combination with the concave arching shaft allows the toy’s body to arch easily when it goes deep. This adds to the feeling of fullness in the rectum and increases the prostate stimulation a bit. Some lucky bottoms who’s second sphincter is located in a sweet spot and who are depth experienced will be able to allow the glans to enter the colon. The tapered glans is good for opening up this sensitive body area. But the many ridges and grooves on the upper half of the shaft makes the Hilt delicate for depth play. Because when twisting the toy, the bottom can be easily be pushed over the edge because the stimulation it too intense. Plentiful lubrication is advised!

The Conical Neck and the Round Base of the Hilt

As always with platinum silicone toys, pleases only use it with water- or oil-based lubes. The silicone oil inside silicone lube will disintegrate the toy, making the surface sticky and porous. Overtime, the toy will not be body safe anymore.

After each scene, the Hilt should be cleaned which is easy with silicone toys. Soak them in warm water with dish soap to get the lube off more easily. Once soaked, rub over the toy using your hands or a soft cloth, rinse the toys with warm water and let it dry. If you want to be extra-safe, spray a body safe sanitizer on the toy afterwards.

Only buying from Topped Toys directly or one of their authorized retailers guarantees that you get a 100% body safe, hypo allergenic toy with a super-smooth surface for easy cleaning and insertion.

Playing with the Spike

The basic shape of the Spike is a very elongated cone but with a very interesting texture. On the one side there is a hard toothed pattern like on a saw with six teeth. The diameter gradual increases and then ends in a steepish drop before the diameter increases again. The opposite side is textured with band of horizontal bumps, starting below the first saw tooth and about as wide as it. While the texture is not deep enough to irritate a moderately trained anus, it definitely will be felt on the prostate and the second sphincter! Alternating which texture is targeting the prostate in combination with various riding speeds offers a wide range of different sensations! If you are playing with a partner or are very agile, twisting the Spike inside the hole can be a very hot experience!

The design is more for the more experienced player, both in depth and width. With a max diameter-insertable length ratio of about 1:4 your sphincter needs to be trained a bit and be pre-stretched to enjoy the overwhelmingly horny feeling when the Spike pops in! In order to take the Spike beyond the rectum, you need a sturdy training toys to desensitize the transition from rectum to colon. This body area is really sensitive and can easily tense up when stimulated/ stretched too intensely or forcefully. When this happens with the Spike, the first saw tooth deviates and you have to wait until the body area relaxes again for a second try. To train and desensitize the transition area, you need a toy to slowly (!) push through with the right and limited amount of force(!) without deviating.

A really clever design feature is the plug-like neck design. But due to the diameter neck-max. diameter ratio of around 1:1.6 you can really keep the Spike inside and walk around. Especially with the Spike 105 and 125 this is a bit of the challenge because due to the weight you need a strong sphincter to keep it inside. But the Spike is also a good tool to train that. Feeling the soft silicone with all the texture inside your body move while you walk around is definitely one of the most interesting sensations I ever had with a toy!

While the circular base is wide and thick enough to give the Spike a firm and sturdy stand, I sometimes would have wished for a suction base option. Since the Spike will most likely not be your starting toy in a session, there will probably already be loads of lube scattered on your hand and in the play area. While lube at undesired spots is always a problem, for example the thicker base of a MHT Centaur provides more stability in these situations compared to the Spike’s very flexible base.

In order to take a toy deep, especially when playing on your own, there are two ways which allow for your rectum and colon to relax the most: Either ride it kneeling or attach it to a wall crawl towards it. For the latter you need a strong suction cup or vac-u-lock hole. There are ways to compensate with tension straps and o-rings but that is no solution for a quick round of plug&play. To be fair: Almost all designated depth toys I know do not have a suction cup and/ or a vac-u-lock hole! So with the large base, the Spike is one of the better in that category. If it just was a bit thicker.

All things considered, the Spike is a great toy for the experienced player! Actually so good, that almost all testees bought one for themselves, something that very rarely happens.

From a reviewer’s point of view, the Steed arrived at a bad timing: I got this toy just after Christmas and at the beginning of the annual review break. So while I had much time to send it to different testees and get very varied opinions on this toy, I rarely got more messages asking me if I could already give an interim opinion. So it is just to start the new review season with this toy!

The Sinnovator Steed

Like all Sinnovator toys, the Steed is made out of platinum silicone which is 100% body safe, super-smooth and hypo allergenic. The casting is perfect! Small details are shaped perfectly, there are no frayed edges.

You can choose between two firmness degrees Medium Soft which is Shore A4 and Medium which is Shore A10. For most toy companies the “firm” range starts at A8 and the medium is around A5 so keep in mind that Sinnovator toys are on the firmer end of the softness scale. When it comes to colors, the options at Sinnovator are almost limitless. From classic black over Steed’s Signature which is a vibrant red – silver split to total custom ideas, everything is possible. I asked Sinnovator to surprise me with something extraordinary and got this psychedelic madness which I love!

Add-on-wise you can get everything you could want from a fantasy dildo: A cum tube costs £25 and which as you might know do not really recommend because the feeling is not that impressive and the cleaning is a nightmare. The suction cup add £20 but sadly none of my friends and testees had a Sinnovator toy with this add-on so I cannot judge the usefulness of this feature. A no-brainer is the free Vac-u-Lock hole. Add it in any case, even if you do not have the matching accessories (which if you are an avid ass pig should get), because sticking a finger into the hole makes guiding the toy into your play partner’s ass SO much easier. What surprised me that the Vac-u-Lock hole was about an inch too short to fully take my grip. Friends also had the same experience with various fuck machines. It does not compromise the suction/ grip of the adapter much. It just looks weird.

Playing with the Steed

The Steed is a toy for texture junkies. It roughly has the shape of a realistic horse dick. But the shaft is texture with deep ridges and high veins, not seen on a living animal. But that is the joy of dildos: They can be better than the reality.

Especially the large version requires some depth experience to be fully enjoyed. At 254mm insertable length it is just long enough to pop through the second sphincter for most bodies though short enough to be handled easily. The for this sensitive body area relatively deep texture around the glans rim makes the Steed a devilish tool for teasing and stimulating. Just below the glans there is a short resting area with no texture so you can stretch and torment the second sphincter by popping the glans through it.

This section ends with three relatively shallow horizontal grooves. For most other guys this marks the end of the second sphincter stimulation (though I know one greedy petite puppy from Tirol who will probably like to differ).  But especially the thick vertical veins are a delight to when twisted inside the anus.

In the middle of the shaft is a horizontal ridge, typical for anatomically correct horse dildos. But on the Steed is a perfectly horizontal, at size L almost 10mm wide area which especially in firm POPS! On the top of the shaft there is another, slightly shallower ridge. From first ring on, a deep ventral groove textures the shaft along with two thick veins left and right of it. The combination of this horizontal and vertical texture makes riding and twisting the Steed a delight – if you can focus on this area. Because when you have gone so deep, the tip will have penetrated the second sphincter, leading to an intense double stimulation of that area and the anus. So the Steed is not for the faint of heart or beginner. The intense stimulation can lead to the sphincter to tighten up. Start slowly and see where the moans of your bottom take you.

Finally a word of caution for the experience player: I chose this toy based on the circumference values on the Sinnivator website. And even after reviewing anal toys some 5 years now, I am still struggling with circumference values as a representation of size. So when I got my large Steed, I was disappointed how small it was. Of course, with the Stallion Sinnovator offers a larger horse dildos but that model is just as smooth as the other three horse dildos in my collection. So hopefully at some point Sinnovator will offer the Steed in an XXL version with 65mm glans diameter and 311mm insertable length (scaled proportionally from the site L).

Well… what to write about the design this toy? It is a just chain after all… The basic design of connecting more than three links has been around for over 2,200 years now. But you can never go wrong with a classic! But knowing how silicone toys are made, I wondered how this chain is manufactured: The individual links are cast and then 50% are cut in half. These half-shells are then used to connect two links. While you can still see the seam connecting the links, it has been thoroughly smoothed so you don’t feel it.

The Three Colors of the Flurb Chain: Gold, Silver & Bronze

Being made by Flurb, it is made out of nice, squishy platinum silicone which is 100% body safe, super-smooth and hyp7o allergenic. I could not find a Shore value for it, but from my experience I would say it is around A5. This may sound firm, especially considering the current trend towards (absurdly, almost unusable) soft silicone, since the links are by design airy and thin they give in and stretch well. Color-wise you can choose between a silver/ steel tone, a dark bronze and a rich gold. All colors are not solid but have a bit of a marble and sparkle, authentically conveying the impression of aged metal.

A single link of the Flurb Chain measures 70mm in length, 50mm in width and has a wire strength of 15mm.  The chain is sold in five possible lengths.

First things first: “Can I stuff it up my butt?” Yes! Yes, you can! And it is great! As I have written, the links are a bit squishy. On the ends where the links are connected, they naturally are a bit firmer (as ToyTorture always says: The thicker the silicone, the firmer it will feel) than in the middle where they can be compressed easily. This leads to a nice popping sensation, especially when you pull out the chain. Yet the silicone is stiff enough to want to expand to its original shape and size once inserted. So you can get a nice stuffed and full feeling. But depending on your anatomy and experience level, you should definitely be more ambitious when choosing the length of your chain for that feeling! My chain has 15 links and I wished I would have gone for the 19 link, if not 23 link version. Because if the chain is completely stuffed up my butt, there is still room until I would get the nice, full feeling. Luckily, you can always add volume easily.

A longer chain is also nice for the obscene look of a big and heavy chain “leaking” out of the ass hole. If you fear, you might loose the chain inside your butt, simply wrap one of the end links around the base of your cock and balls. This is also the basis for a bit of an ass lock look: Push a (not too large) plug through the link, anchor the plug’s base around the link and wrap one link around your junk. The chain has not enough rigidity to transfer much of the jerking motion onto the plug. But if you have at least 7 links between the butt plug’s anchor link and the loose end, (forcefully) dangling and swinging the chain creates enough momentum to move the plug inside the bottom’s ass.

For guys with real loose low-hangers, the fun stops no there. With a bit of work and dexterity, you can stack one link over the other while wrapping them around your sack’s neck. A top then pulling on the chain forcefully enough for the links to untangle and come loose is a unique CBT experience. Especially if the top took advantage of the tightly stretched balls and gave them a good beating.

In the past years, wearing increasingly larger chains around your neck at events like Folsom Europe has been a big trend. And the Flurb Chain can definitely play with the big boys in that field! The largest non-commercial anchor chain has a wire strength of 13mm, a pitiful 2mm less than this handsome beast. So now you just need to find a lock large and light enough to lock this silicone accessory around your neck. I am also sure, Flurb would be able to make a custom closed chain like a necklace you simply need to pull over your head.

One thing the Flurb Chain will not give you it the sensation of a compact, heavy chain resting in your colon. Being made ouf ot thick and considerably firm platinum silicone, a link weights around 31g. This means the almost one meter long 23 link version weights around 710g which is one third of a one meter 10mm wire strength short-link stainless steel chain. But the nice stuffy feeling in combination with the security platinum silicone offers over stainless steel, it is a good trade off!

Speaking of security, here is the usual platinum lecture: Only use with water or oil based lubes; never hybrid or silicone ones because it will damage the toys (this includes silicone oil or other products to shine rubber!). Store separately from other toys without touching other materials with plasticizers in them and pressure on the Chain. Wash in warm dish soap water, let/ wipe dry, sanitize and you are instantly ready to stuff this toy into another partner.

For about a year I started noticing this manufacturer through an increasing number of reader questions. So I am delighted to finish this special with a look at three plus one of their most popular toys – at least judging from your messages.

The Neotori Jorhan, Mundir, Finn & Qwim

Construction

Neotori is most famous for the beautiful marble coloration of their toys. While you can get the toys in single or split between body and base colorations for their softer toys, the double or triple split as what makes the toys really shine. You can choose between 28 colors which is almost Bad Dragon or OrganoToy territory. What Neotori does not offer (yet?) are glow in the dark colors! The vibrant hue you see in their social media pictures comes from UV active colors which glow when exposed to UV light around 395nm. So they look stunning in playrooms with black light but will not continue glowing when the light is turned off.

The vibrant colors are achieved by using platinum silicone as a material. From all the materials used to make anal toys out only glass carries color as well and brightly as platinum silicone. Besides that, it is 100% body safe and hypoallergenic. It’s also the best toys for orgies because it is easy to clean and sanitize between partners: Wash the lube off with warm dish soap water, dry, spray sanitizer on it and you are good to go again. Platinum has one drawback though: Never use silicone or hybrid lube with this kind of material! The silicone oil in it will disintegrate the surface and thus the toy over time.

Firmness-wise Neotori currently offers two options: Standard (Shore A00-50) and firm (Shore A8). I am aware that the current trend goes towards softer anal toys but their standard is considerably softer than the soft options from other brands. A friend of mine ordered their Mundir in standard – against my advice – because he wanted the orange-black split coloration shown on the website. He got the toys and it turned out that he had to be REALLY loose to knot this toy when riding it; otherwise he just compressed the neck below the knot.

The final customizing option is a suction cup. Unlike other manufacturer, they do not “naturally” integrate the cup into the base so it goes from edge to edge but mould a round/ oval dome into the bottom. This works good on toys like Mundir or Qwim that which have a base following the shape of the suction cup and not so good on toys like Finn where the suction cup is just covers portion of the base. On all three toys the rim around the suction cup is considerably thicker than on toys from other manufacturers in my collection. Due to this there is more force required to create the suction; simply sticking the toys to a surface is not enough. But you know my opinion on suction cups: Even a not perfect one is better than none so I recommend ordering only toys when possible.

Playing with Finn, Jorhan, Mundir & Qwim

Let’s start hands-on part of this review with the most asked about toy: Finn the Cat. Even though anthro toys are becoming increasingly more popular with avid ass aficionados like me for their quality and texture, a large portion of the buyer base are still furries looking for a dick of their furson breed. While there are many canine and equidae dicks (more about that below) out there, feline penises are hard to come by. So I showed my Finn to a veterinarian and he confirmed that Finn is actually pretty close to the real deal.

Finn starts out with a relatively small glans. Instead of a drop below the glans, the glans rim is textured by two rows of implied barbs. Of course the “barbs” are touching the shaft over their entire length so unlike a feline glans, Finn is not difficult to pull out. But especially at the beginning of play, the texture creates a nice massaging stimulation inside the anus. Later in the play, the glans will become less interesting due to the large diameter the shaft opens up to.

Below the glans the shaft almost perfectly conical increases in diameter till it reaches the base. The front and the back are lightly textured with ridges. What makes Finn interesting are the bumps which texture the space in the side. Rising up to 4mm (!), they are VERY noticeable and stimulate intensely. While they are fun to enjoy when riding, you get the most out of Finn when a top is twisting the dildo while pushing it in and out of the ass. The base features too very faint balls and as already written a not perfect suction cut. But since the base is thin in proportion to the rest of the toys, a top gets a good grip when compressing the balls for fucking the bottom with Finn.

The next toy also features an interesting glans design: Jorhan is a horse dick. But unlike other manufacturer who usually offer two versions of the equidae dildo – one unflared with a half-dome glans, one flared with a flat, almost trumpet-shaped tip – Neotori went for something in between. Jorhan’s glans has a bit of domey texture in the middle of a flat surface. Around the glans are fewer and thicker bumps than on more realistic dildos. The shaft that follows below the glans has about the same diameter as the flat surface on top of the glans. Except a bulge about 2/3 down the shaft and some texture just above the base, Jorhan is smooth and does not increase in diameter.

Through this unique design, Jorhan is a good toy for bottoms who want a wide stretch deep or train towards a flared model. Once the first or second sphincter opens up to the glans, it will stay stretched to the glans’ diameter. So even after long and intense sessions, the dildo will come out of the hole with some ease unlike with flared toys. Naturally, Jorhan is not for an anally inexperienced. The still flat glans requires a very loose hole to open up!

I was actually surprised how well my Jorhan XL in Firm stood up even when riding o bearing down on it. Generally speaking Neotori’s basees are rather on the small and thin side. But in comparison to the massive, long and thick shaft, the base is cartoonishly small and thin. From my experience, especially with horse dildos which can be difficult to handle through the size and weight, I sometimes would have wished for a 8 – 15mm ticker base for a more secure stand when playing alone or grip when topping with Jorhan.

From the start Mundir is a little more conventional. A point, canine-like glans with a small glans drop and an elongated barrel shape shaft make for an easy insertion and nice, even stretch. There a pair of ventral grooves at the top and at the bottom but otherwise Mundir is good for smooth stretching. But everything changes at the knot! Unlike other dog dildos, it features three not two cavernous bodies. While their shape is drawn-out and not compressed like on other dildos, the 50% higher number of bulges texturing the shaft makes this knot harder to take. Furthermore, with shaft-knot ratio of 1:1.6 Mundir is one the more brutish end of the canine toy scale.

But, as challenging as the knot might be, as satisfying it is to finally take it. It is a good, intense, horny stretch. Below the knot is a large enough resting space to prepare the hole for opening up again. When playing with a top twisting Mundir in the right spot massages the prostate (or if you are REALLY loose, the anus). The base is relative small but provides a good grip for tops or houses a strong enough suction cup for riding this dildo.

Qwim’s Heavily Textured Shaft and Glans

The final toy in this review was just introduced this August. It’s called Qwim and it’s a fantasy toy as in not based on an animal. The “glans” takes up the upper half of the toy. It is triangular “blade” textured with bumps on the edges and the surface. The lower half is a round shaft heavily textured with high ridges and bumps. What is described in short words is actually a dream for a texture freak like me. Riding Qwim pushes so many buttons inside my anus, my prostate and second sphincter. Because the glans is so bendy, it easily finds the way towards the second sphincter. And while the glans’ tip is small and smooth, the initial opening is easy. But the texture on this sensitive body area can be a bit much – or “pure bliss” to quote one of my testees.

Its shape makes Qwim a toy for more experienced bottoms. Since the glans easily bends, you have to be loose to take the first half of the toy. The heavy texture can make the anus tense up due to the stimulation. So a good pre-stretch is recommended to fully enjoy this toy. Qwim actually has my favorite base out of the four. Good size, solid support when riding or fucking.

As you have probably have guessed already when I review an anal toy, they make all their dildos out of platinum silicone. This means their delicious dongs are 100% body safe, hypoallergenic and easy to clean – as long as you stick to water- or oil-based lubed. The silicone oil in silicone and hybrid lubes will dissolve the material. You clean these toys by soaking them in warm dish-soap water, brush off all residue lube, dry and spray sanitizer on them and store them away not touching other toys.

When it comes to possible configurations, KnotMe is on par with most other manufacturers. Firmness-wise you can choose between soft (Shore A2 so a bit softer than Bad Dragon Soft), medium (Shore A5 like Bad Dragon Medium) and firm (Shore A10, a bit former than Bad Dragon Firm) regardless of the size. They do not offer split firmness. Colorwise you can choose between 16 colors, both in standard and pearl variety. Regardless of the variety, compared to other manufacturer the colors look a bit dull and flat. In the end, it is up to personal taste. Some testees enjoyed the more sedate and subtle looks of the KnotMe toys, other liked to popping and vibrant Bad Dragon style. To color the toy it can either have one color, have a split between base and body or have a marble look called mix which I chose for my toys. Some toys can be equipped with a suction cup for an additional 10€. As with any other manufacturer I implore you to choose this option. In the shower, on the playroom floor, on the thigh of your boy friend… A suction cup is just too useful to safe the money and not having it! Some toys like the Dragon automatically come with a suction cup build in their base.

For this review I chose the two most requested toys from their 10-mold range: The Buddy and the Dragon. Both have the unusual yet nifty property that their glans diameter is about the same as the shaft diameter above the knot which makes for an intense knotting experience.

Though Buddy is the rougher of the two. Starting out with a canine-inspired pointy tipped, yet overall dull glans with a significant glans drop on the sides and bottom, Buddy does not smoothly open up the sphincter. The shaft however is a bit anti-climatic. It is slightly convex and bulges a bit towards the bottom. There is also a faint hint of a ventral groove but you REALLY have to focus to feel it with your fingers, let alone your sphincter. The main event resides below the shaft: Two massive slightly oval spheres which form the knot. Even being experienced with anthropomorphic dildos, it is hard for me to find the right words to express how intense the knotting feels!  Since the spheres are compressed on the top and the bottom, their top is flatter and thus duller than you would expect. The knotting is even intensifies by the small recess of the shaft’s bulging above the knot. This is a nice design feature if you just play with the shaft. It offers a “resting” places and emphasis the shaft’s sublet stretching sensation for the more inexperienced player. For the people wanting to take the knot, this pushes the shaft-knot ration to almost 1:2.1, giving even Bad Dragon’s Fenrir a run for his money! Below the knot there is just a short, about sphincter-wide resting space before flowing into an antro-base with a fur look-a-like texture. But the flatish bottom of the knot helps to lock it in place.

Buddy’s Knot

“Lock in place” is a good key word because this is actually what some testees have done with Buddy. Compared to his MASSIVE knot, the shaft is relatively short. So Buddy is the ideal buddy if you want an intense stretch without having to conquer depth. In the large version that I have got, it is just short enough for most testees to be worn without pushing deeper. The base is also smallish enough to more or less fit discreetly and comfortably between the cheeks and more important, not creating leverage. While Buddy is truly a dildo, some knot aficionado will find some use in him as a plug.

For (piston) fucking, Buddy is a bit cumbersome. The base it too small and folds easily if you have chose the suction cup. On the other hand, the suction cup is really strong so if you attach Buddy to a smooth surface, it will hold even during a vigorous fucking.

Dragon plays a different game than his Buddy (sorry, I try to make this the last “buddy” pun of this review. Promise!).  This starts with the tip which has an overall pointy cone-shape. Like the entire dildo it is oval so through twisting and turning inside the anus, it can open up the hole. Below the glans, there are four v-shaped grooves texturing the shaft. They are wide and deep enough to stimulate the anus, especially when fucking more forcefully. As for the prostate, they are not prominent enough to really “punch” it. It is more a gentle “scratching” massage.

The shaft gently flows into a smooth knot which extended only towards the top side; the shaft’s and knot’s bottom are almost straight. Except for a ridge extending from the shaft’s bottom over it, the knot is completely smooth. At the bottom it tapers smoothly towards the stem where the anus can rest after the knotting. Don’t get me wrong, due to the size and shape, it is a heftyish knot to take. But it tapers so nicely that it can be taken and pushed out easily once you the hole is loose enough.

The base is round, anthro-textured and always features a STRONG suction cup. While Buddy is for the extremer play, Dragon is actually a good starting point if you want to get into knot and anthrodildo play. Both the glans and the knot go in easily (looseness provided) and it has a bit texture to get hooked on it but not too much to make taking the toy difficult.
